34 - free kindness

The last episode of the anime began.
They were all tired but too comfortable and chill to get up and come back to their homes.

"I'm cold" Felix mumbles.
"Do you want my jacket?" Changbin asked concerned.
"No, don't worry" Felix lies, caressing Changbin's shoulder to reassure him.
"No really, take it" Changbin insists.
Seungmin, who hears the conversation, interrupts them and says "Guys, since i'm also cold, just go upstairs in my room and take a blanket, please"
"Uh okay" Felix says smiling at Changbin.
"Ok, but start with putting on my jacket" Changbin says thoughtfully, handing Felix his blue jacket.
Felix smiles and puts it on, smiling at his kindness. Then they go upstairs, in a shy and awkward silent.
Changbin walks in Seungmin's bedroom, followed by Felix who looks like a curious puppy.
"It should be here, somewhere" Changbin says as he walks around the room.
"Uh~" Felix's glance goes to every part of the bedroom, from the bed to the closet, and he stares at the posters on the walls.
"Oh, right. Don't mind it: Seungmin is a nerdy little boy" Changbin says giggling, pointing at the posters of video games and Korean bands that Felix was analysing carefully.
Then Felix bursts out laughing at Changbin's funny words.
"Well I don't mind it, after all I'm quite a nerd too" Felix says shaking his head and walking around the room.
"I like nerds" Changbin says in a shy tone, as he realises what he has just said.
It makes Felix surprised at first but then he exchanges him a sweet smile followed by a nonchalant expression.
Changbin sighs and blushes a bit, but tries to hide it as he opens the dresser and pulls out a big Hello Kitty blanket.
"It's so obvious his gayness, he can't even help it" Changbin laughs a bit, as Felix giggles too.
"C'mon, it's something I'd buy too" Felix smiles softly, defending Seungmin.
"I can tell, it makes sense" Changbin says in a joking and sarcastic voice, as Felix tilts his head slightly.
"What you mean by that, bruh?" Felix answers with the same sarcastic tone that Changbin used.
"Nothing, just what I said" Changbin shrugs with a smirk.
"You sayin' I look 'obviously gay'?" Felix asks stepping closer to Changbin, making his heart beat faster at the teasing.
"Mmh, you said it, not me bro" Changbin laughs a bit nervously.
"The audacity–" Felix scoffs dramatically, tilting his head.
Changbin smiles a bit, amused by Felix's dramatic reaction.
"Why? Is it a bad thing to be 'obviously gay'?" Changbin asks shrugging.
"Well, dunno. What do you say?" Felix smiles softly.
"It's lucky cuz people understand immediately what you're into, plus you look really sure of what you want so it's a pro in my opinion" Changbin explains.
"Mmh, if you say so" Felix can't help smile at his words.
"Yeah" Changbin shrugs, as he keeps his eyes glued on Felix's pretty face.
Then they both walk towards the door of the bedroom, but Changbin is stopped by Felix sudden touch on his arm.
"Uhm?" Changbin gasps surprised.
Felix tiptoes to arrive at Changbin's height, then he kisses his cheek, which immediately turns red.
"Thank you for the jacket, and for being so kind to me" Felix whispers in Changbin's ear.
"What?" Changbin mumbles stunned.
"I'm usually the one who's kind to everyone, but for the first time someone has been kind to me without any reason. Thanks for this" Felix says with a genuine and honest voice.
Then they make eye contact for some seconds and Felix walks away, downstairs.
Changbin is left alone in the room, only with the Hello Kitty blanket in his hands and his cheeks as red as tomatoes.
He feels his heart beating faster and faster, as his whole body gets hotter: was he really falling for a guy he just met? but especially for a GUY??

After spending the beautiful evening together, they all come back home.
