"Listen and Understand, no matter what."
I watched a movie where that's the only thing the main character's wife wanted.
I thought that was interesting. On average, a woman will speak 20,000 words a day, where a man only will speak 7,000.
Of all those words.
All that communication.
A person can still not be understood. So, talking isn't the make or break in communication, listening is.
To listen, genuinely.
Then that's when you will, finally, understand.
It's never easy, constantly being miss understood.
So I sacrifice, because of the fact of not being understood.
I know it sounds like a lot to ask, but why do I have to speak to be heard?
Why do I have to voice my opinions for someone to understand where I'm coming from.
It's not hard.
It takes patience.
Omniscient
Arabella stared into space as she sat in the living room. No one was home except Harmonie and her best friend ,Janelle, and Arabella.
Sleepover they called it.
More like a lez fest. Arabella thought.
Melanie and Daniel had taken Dominique out for clothes shopping eventhough he already had clothes.
Unacceptable. Daniel called them.
This Dominique character had been here for almost 2 weeks now and it was obvious the amount of stress he was bringing .
Every time you turn around him and Daniel were arguing about something. And Daniel could never be the bigger person and let it go.
"You need to learn to be grateful. " Daniel bombarded through the front door.
Here we go.
"I didn't ask for the shit, so the fuck I need to be grateful fo'? " Dominique said, walking through the door with his hands in his pockets.
"It doesn't matter i- "
"Swea' you wasting your breath, cause I don't give a fuck. " Dominique walked through out the house and up the stairs.
Arabella smirked. Dominique was always saying something smart to Daniel, and it was funny how Daniel could never say anything back.
Daniel snatched Dominique by his collar, pulling him back.
"Aye, nigga, get the fuck off of me. " He pushed Daniel away, causing Daniel to stumble backwards.
"Little boy if you ever put your hands on me-"
"You wouldn't do shit. I can knock yo' old ass out breezy" He scoffed.
