I've never been that social, obviously.
I've never been attracted to a person.
I've never cried for anyone.
I've never missed anyone.
I've never...
I've never...
I've never wanted to either.
Arabella Jersey|
Arabella sat down on the wooden stool and tried her best to complete the portrait she had started. She stared at the picture and was utterly confused. She had painted a picture of a wolf with its' mouth parted wide, but the void was frustrating Arabella. She knew that something belonged there, but couldn't put her finger on it. She tried a variety of different possibilities, but none of them fit. Arabella ran her fingers through her hair and decided to give up for now.
Arabella was in her family's guest house, right now. So she was away from distractions. Her family barely used this guest house, because there was a larger one on the other side of the property that was preferred. No one knew she used it, so this was her little haven. Ever since she was 14. No one knew that she went there. They just know she goes outside, disappears for a few hours and returns sooner or later. The first few times her mother worried the entire time. One time actually calling the police, but then when she saw how she always returned, she let down a little.
Arabella played music allowed and sang along in her head, while picking up her sketchbook, and beginning to draw whatever came to mind.

"Arabella, honey" Arabella heard her mother call her name, as soon as she entered the house. She walked towards the living room, where her mother had a suitcase and was rambling through her purse. "Bell, me, you, and Harmonie need to leave now and go to visit your cousin, George."
Arabella's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. They didn't really associate with a lot of their family, so a random visit was not normal at all. "He had a stroke and is in critical condition. "
Arabella then understood. Her mother's family must've called her down to help out with something. Something revolving around money. Arabella had peeped many conversations where her family had only threw her mother's name in a situation when money was needed, and her clueless mother fell for it every time.
"Don't just stand there, hurry, and go pack some clothes up"

"Bye honey. We'll be back in a few days." Melanie kissed her husband while picking up her suitcase.
The three females left the house, leaving two alpha males in the house alone. Daniel had no idea how he would deal with Dominique. He honestly never seen someone as dead set on their ways, in such an unconventional situation. You would expect him to be thankful for the opportunity, but he's the exact opposite. He's as miserable as they come. Daniel knew that he couldn't just give up on him, even though the temptation was strong, Daniel loved a challenge. But Daniel knew, that keeping that firecracker in his house is a potential danger for his entire family. So he had to come up with a solution.
As Daniel went on his computer and began brainstorming alternative solutions, Dominique laid upstairs eating a bag of Doritos, and some pizza. Dominique hated having to live here, he slept all day and was up all night, doing nothing. He wasn't allowed out of the house past 8, and even then he had to be with Daniel or Melanie. Shit was unfair on all levels.
He was bored out of his mind. TV and his phone could only do but so much for him. Finally reaching his peak of boredom, Dominique got up and began making his way downstairs. He knew that the girls were gone on some kind of emergency family trip because Melanie had told him. Dominique knew what the next few days were going to be like, him being in his room, avoiding the annoying ass Daniel.
"Dominique" Daniel called out as soon as he heard him on the stairs.
Dominique rolled his eyes and blew loudly. He walked towards the kitchen, dreadfully. "Wassup"
Daniel removed his glasses from his faces and looked at Dominique. "Well...I've been thinking about the things that have happened the last couple of days, and for certain safety precautions for my family, I figured that you would need an alternate living arrangement."
Dominique eyebrows furrowed in. "Whatchu' tryna say?"
"I'm trying to say that, your outbursts... they're violent. And I know I made a promise to get you on a straight and clean path, but I will not put my family at risk of potential danger.." Daniel looked at Dominique, trying to see if he was taking in this information well.
Dominique scoffed and slightly chuckled.
"Is something funny?" Daniel inquired.
"Nah, I just didn't take you as the type of nigga to give up. But it's cool, I'll do my time till I'm 18 " Dominique turned to walk away, so he could gather his stuff. He was used to people giving up on him, it really wasn't a big deal to him, anymore.
"Dominique wait--"
Dominique turned to face Daniel. "Nah, It's cool. I don't need yo' ass, your money, your sympathy, none of that bullshit. I was living just fine without you, so if you don't mind, my violent ass tryna get my shit, so I can leave."
Daniel grabbed his shoulder before he could turn to walk up the stairs. " I'm not giving up on you, son. If you'll just listen"

"I don't remember this art ever being here...must be Monie's" Daniel looked around the guest house.
Daniel had offered to let me stay in the guest house that they kept, but never used. He said it was the safest option. He said that he knew that I was, also, nearly a grown man, being forced to live with strangers, so he felt like he needed to give me a little personal respect. Even though I ain't too keen about Daniel, but I had to give him his props for not just sending my ass away. Cuz I know my ass be putting him through hell.
"I like it, it's cool," I said. Couldn't really complain about this shit.
Daniel smiled and patted my shoulder. "Well then, I'm going call up some people and they'll move your bed and all that other stuff in here, sometime today." He turned to walk away.
"Aye, Dan...I 'preciate this. "
He chuckled. " No problem Dominique. I don't plan on giving up on you, I know there's some good in you ... And remember this is a privilege, don't abuse it. "
I simply nodded my head, as he began making his way back to the house.
I grew up with a lot of love in a happy home.
My daddy uses to play me vinyl, but now daddy's gone.
I used to practice with my mommy on the piano.
I had the perfect dad I wanna be the perfect son.
Though I really feel sometimes I am on my own.
