The name's Jade, Jade Gilbert. Jem for short. My father is John Gilbert. My mother ... well, who knows. Never met her, all I know is she left me on John's door step, when only three months old, with a note, Only saying -"She's yours, you get to have the brat. Good-bye John".-
John took me in, he didn't mind having a daughter. He loved me alot, loved spoiling me beyond belief, even if I was a little brat. I grew up well and got into Stanford University.
That's where I met Sam and Jess, Jess and I became best friends. We were happy and content living our lives as college students. I was staying in the house next door to Sam and Jess, when Jess died. Only to find out later on, Waking up in the middle of know where with only the memory of a pair of big yellow eyes. The yellow eyed demon, as Sam and Dean called it. Gave me a warning to tell Sam and Dean. Sam felling guilty for bringing me into this, convinced his brother to bring me along. Saying with a little training, I could help out and give a new perspective.
After getting dean to warm up to me Dean and I became instant friends. Dean would playfully flirt with me, and I would do it right back. That's how the two of us were. We became best friends instantly.

Looking at the sign on the building. My eyes roamed the colors and the white letters, smiling at the bittersweet memories. You remembered The long summer weeks staying here, hanging out with your cousins while John was away for "Work" as he called it. The amazing cooking, aunt and uncle treating me as one of their own, even if that wasn't always a good thing.
"Jem?" Dean Winchester asked. I glanced up at him. "You good?"
"Hm?" You asked, he smiled and taking my hand.
"Let's get to the motel." He pulled me along, down the empty road. I let him, Until I heard a gasp pulling away I swung around to see Elena standing at the end of the drive way with a bag of groceries.
"Jade?!" Her hands went to cover her mouth as she dropped the groceries in her hands completely forgotten.
"Elena?" I whispered. Watching the girl in front of me, rush to me and pull me into a hug. Before realizing the two men beside me.
She back from me taking a good long look, her brown eyes watching me for a second. Before they raked over Dean and Sam. Knowing that look, I remembered exactly what was going through her brain as she got that look. Even knowing her next step.
"When did you get in?" She asked, her smile small but still fake, her eyes more interested in Dean and Sam to be really interested in what I was really saying.
"Today." I said, trying to ignore the way she was still looking at Dean. Like he was a thick cut slice of brisket and Sam was her favorite ice cream, just about to melt in her hands. Getting irritated because this was the exact reason, her and I got into a huge fight before I left. Taking her arm, we started up toward the house as the boys picked up the forgotten groceries. "I was going to stop and say hello to you and Jeremy, along with Uncle Grayson and Aunt Miranda."
Elena's eyes glazed over with unshed tears as she stopped dead in her tracts. Looking at me as if I just whipped lashed her. "Y-You don't know?" She murmured, her voice croaking.
"Know what?" I stepped closer to her, confused by her reaction. Sam and Dean watched us from afar, carefully not to step over family boundaries.
"T-They're dead." She whispered, to me. As a silent tear went down her cheek.
"What?" My voice rough refusing to let it break. I could feel shock make my head spin. I could feel the building of hot tears behind my eyes. "H-how?"
Elena taking slow breaths explained, I could tell she was holding back the tears. Pulling her into my arms. I apologized for not knowing and being here, when she need me.
Elena took the boys and I into the house. Taking a shaky breath as I stepped on the stairs. Elena had walked into the door, Looking back at the guys.
"Sorry, but I have to... you guys can, go to the motel if you want." I said .
"Alright, call us if you need us." Sam said coming to pull me into a half hug, still avoiding my left side. Dean stood still hesitating to follow his brother out the door.
Walking through the door, Jeremy was sitting at the kitchen table. "JR?" I asked. He looked up as a smile came across his lips . Standing up he rushed over to me Picking me up as he hugged me tightly, wincing as he squeezed me a bit to tightly.
"Jem.... It's so good to see you home, " He said setting me down, his smile still wide. I laughed at his smile so large. He still had his little boy look.
"Oh Jem, this is our Aunt Jen, my mother's sister. Aunt Jen this is jade our cousin. She's our dads brothers daughter. " He said. I smiled, as she looked up from the cutting board.
"So, you must be the famous Jade I always heard about." She said with a smile. I nodded
"I don't know about famous." I answered honestly
"John's daughter, right?" She asked. I nodded again.
"Well, Family is family. Stay for dinner. We are having tacos!" She beamed. Smiling I let out a small chuckle.
"Ok, but only if I'm able to serve my plate before Jeremy eats it all." I said punching Jeremy in the arm.
"Hey, I'm not that big of a pig." He said rubbing his arm. Everybody laughed.
