Apple Pie Life - Dean X Reader (Part Two)

You smiled at your son, as he sat in his car seat. "Ready to go see Uncle Cas?" You said. Gabriel nodded happily, he held the stuffed dinosaur, that Castiel  had given him on his second birthday.

You drove to the small apartment building, seeing Castiel had given up his grace to save you and the two brothers. You felt bad for him, seeing he was such an awkward human. He would call you and ask you about things.

You were washing the dishes when the home phone rang, you picked up the phone and held it to your ear. "Hello?"

"(Y/n), the television remote won't work. Perhaps it is broke?" You heard Castiel ask.

You chuckled and said. "Cas, it needs new batteries."

"Oh, right. Okay." The phone went dead.

You carried Gabriel to the door. He pushed the button and a few minutes later Castiel answered the door. "(Y/n), Gabriel, what a lovely surprise." He smiled. "Come in,"

You sat down on his couch, Gabriel crawled around on the floor. "So, Cas, anything happen recently?" You said, trying to make small talk.

"Erm, not really." He shrugged. "How's little Gabriel?"

"Oh, he's great!" You smiled, then your smile faded into a small frown.

"He would be happy. He would probably tease you about naming your son after him." He said. You nodded.

"Yea, he would." You let out a small chuckle. You glanced over at your son, he was watching the older teen titians. He was lost in the show.

Castiel made you and Gabriel lunch, he sipped through the news paper on the table. "A woman murdered, heart missing." He read.

Werewolf. Your mind instantly read. Castiel looked at you, his eyes held the same knowledge. "Poor girl," you said. He nodded.

After a few hours, you departed from Castiel's and headed down by Dean's shop. You carried Gabriel in and smiled at the desk lady. She was nice, she was married with two kids and a husband who worked with Dean.

"Mrs. Winchester, Dean is in the office." She grinned.

"Thank you, Judy." You smiled and walked into the office. Dean was looking at a part to a car, as he also was on the computer.

You knocked on the door frame and he looked up. "Hey, baby." He smiled standing up. He walked to you and your son. "How was Cas?"

"He was good, he says he will come to dinner. I wanted to stop and see you." He smiled at the last comment. He kissed your lips, and hugged both of you.

"I love you," He smiled.

"And I you." You smiled. "I was on my way to Sam's," you told him.

"Good, tell Sammy he better not be getting into trouble." He said. "I got to take this part to the shop, love you." He smiled as he walked away.

You left and walked to you car. You suddenly got the feeling you were being watched after you put Garin his car seat. You looked around and quickly got into your car.

Sam answered the door when he heard you knock. "Sam!" You beamed, he smiled down at you.

"(Y/n)!"

Gabriel was asleep in your arms. Sam took him and held the toddler. Sam doted on the boy just like everyone else.

"So, Dean and I want you and Cas to come to dinner. You know... like old times. I got a babysitter to watch Gabriel. She works with Dean." You told the tall brother.

"I would love to." He said.

"You sound like there is a but after it." You narrowed your eyes suspiciously.

"(Y/n), you can't tell Dean.... not yet." You nodded and followed Sam to the small kitchen table. He had set the sleeping baby on the couch.

"I think there is a demon in town." He said. You cringed, looking  at him.

"Sam... we don't hunt anymore. We all got out... to be happy." You reminded him.

"I know. I know. But, it's just instinct. You know?" He said rubbing his hand over his face.

"I know," you said.

The constant flickering street lights, the random power outages. The deaths by a 'wild animal' a.k.a hell hound. All pointed to demons. And demonic deals.

Sam sighed and sat down in his chair. "So, what time is dinner?" He asked, making you smile.

(N/A - How was this? Sorry, school has been hard. Senior year. Plus I had tennis matches everyday this week.... I will keep trying to update more!)
