Chapter 4:Home?

We soon arrived Shadow Hills.It didn't seem to change just an old shoe store turned into a Hardware store.I used to work at the shoe store,it was nice.Then James told me I had to stop working there,apparently being future beta doesn't come with a paycheck.Since I was hauling in some money.He told me to stop.

I felt my heart beat faster as we got closer to Willis's house or my old house.What would I do would he recognize me?.Did James still there? would he even recognize me. We parked right in front, Axel and Derek got out and knocked on the door.My face was squished against the glass as I tried to get as much as a view as possible.Willis opened the door he looked crazy he had hair in his face he always had a light stubble but it was more than stubble,almost a huge grown beard.His green eyes pierced through his grubby face. They seemed calm it looked like a smooth conversation.Willis looked tired and he looks like he was up all night.I watched them and as Willis closed the door they walked back

"Okay we are good let's go to the pack house"Axel said buckling his seat belt.He leaned over and gave me a kiss

"Remember everyone my name is Emma Steel"I shouted to everyone in the van

"Are you sure about this"Damon asked

"Yeah I'm sure"

We drove up to the pack house.We got out but I stood behind Axel and Derek.Then I saw him Trent he looked the same just more built and he looked like he was on drugs.He stood taller but in that stance he looked broken,like he had lost something important,and while my mind quickly flashed to me.I brushed it off my sleeve and focused back on him

"Welcome Alpha Axel"He said shaking his hand.Axel looked like he was in pain when he shook hands with him.

"Thank you"he stiffly replied.Trent was looking at our pack funny like he was looking for something.

"This is my pack"He said gesturing to everybody.I saw James he was taller his hair was shorter almost a buzz cut.His hair was tousled.

"Do you have a mate"Peter asked.

"No I don't"he said looking down kicking the dirt.

"Oh I'm sorry about that"Axel said

"Well this is my family"Axel said gesturing to all of us he grabbed my hand

"This is Linda Derek Damon Peter and Emma"he said pointing to all of us

"Well it's nice to meet you" he said looking at the ground.I could smell him he smelled really good but I resisted.

"Oh Delilah take them to their rooms"he called over Delilah.She was the same literally exactly the same.She lead us up the stairs.I saw my old room that I barely went in.

"Who's room will that be"I asked

"Alpha doesn't want anyone sleeping in there.Personal reasons"She muttered looking at me.she looked away and lead us to our rooms.she gave everyone else their rooms it was just me and Axel left

"We only have five rooms."She trailed off

"That's fine"Axel smiled giving me a one armed hug.It was perfect.

"We will sleep in the same rooms"I notified her

"Oh okay this one will be yours then."she said pointing too our new room.

"Perfect"I smiled

"I'm sorry have we met before"she asked me

"I don't think so I have lived in Cliff falls so its almost impossible"I stated

"Yeah you just remind me of someone"She stated looking down

"What happened to her"I asked

"She's gone"she mumbled
