I slowly reached for the note the was in my brothers grip.I picked it up and without reading a single word I recognized my mothers writing and it brought me to tears.I wiped my tears and read the note.
Dear Holland
Your father and I are afraid that we won't be there for you because of the recent rouge attacks so we are leaving you this note.I want to let you know I love you so much Holly and I know your only a little girl right now but the time you read this you will be a beautiful young woman.You need to be strong and I know that it is probably difficult for you to read this letter now.I love you and your brother very much and I hope you have found your mate the one you will want to spend the rest of your life with.Your father and I love you so much and I wanted to let you know that.I know someday you will need some advice on things and I won't be there for you but all you need to do is follow your heart no matter where it takes you.
