Chapter 9

Two years ago .....

After the plane landed in his birth country. He was contemplating whether he will go back to the place where he originally belonged or turn back to himself again and just lead his life on his own.

Ever since he decided to have his freedom he cut off his finances to his mother. He just doesn't want to rely financially on her after he bravely stood in front of her and said that he will be ok on his own

During college he worked part time to sustain himself. He lives in a dorm where he met his friend , Wonwoo who is now happily married to Mingyu.

' Tae POV : I wish I could tell his to him. But I choose not because I know the moment that i will tell him , he will never hesitate to come and rescue me. knowing him he will drop anything for the sake of me. He is always a very understanding and caring friend. Never once did I doubt his kindness to me. He's that kind of friend and I truly love him. '

He just regretted that he didn't confess his secret to him. he knows if he comes to know who he is, he doesn't know if he will still be his friend after such a lie Tae had made.

Tae just doesn't want to break his heart and to know that him and Jungkook are no longer at each other. He would be devastated and he will come to his side which Tae doesn't want to happen cause he know Wonwoo's currently right months pregnant.

He doesn't want something to happen to him while traveling to New York and he is with him. Taehyung will kill himself if that happens.

He thought carefully that if he raised his child on his own he would be alone. He doesn't want that to happen. Also, he's at the point where he needs someone to rely on, someone he can trust and will listen to him.

Before he leaves the palace. His mom reminded him of something.

" Mrs Kim :  If something happens and you can't take it anymore, know that I will always be here, me and your brother will always be here , no matter what. I won't close my door. I will welcome you with open arms, Taehyung. You will always be my son whenever or wherever you will go. Promise me if something goes wrong, come back to us. We will be here waiting. Don't ever forget that? Ok?"

She said to him.

He still can't remember how his mother cried while he closed the door and went outside.

After they parted. He still often contacted them during his college days. Just when he got married he stopped connecting for that reason. He's afraid that they will be against him marrying an ordinary man.

Ever since he was young he knows he's bound to be married to someone who's the same status as him. He just prayed that he would not turn out just like his parents. But he knows it's futile to wish such a thing for an arranged marriage is something he doesn't want to happen to him. Never once have he wished to be part of that kind of entanglement.

An arranged marriage between two parties who are not romantically involved or connected is bound to crumble down.

He always dreams of finding his dream guy who will love him as who he is. He always wanted to have someone who will be there for him and vice versa. He knows it's rare to have that kind of love when you are royalty. But he can't help wishing.

Just when he found  someone he's so happy. Happy that he lost himself to it. He became the center of his world. Taehyung depended on him so much that he thought he would be the last person who would want to hurt him.

Turns out, he turned Taehyung's life into pieces. He didn't single batted to let Tae go. It's like Tae's wish for rain to come in the desert. All along he just expected something for nothing.
