He was been introduced to a commander. It was starstruck by it
he stunned. The commander smiled and talk to the neighbor of Vlad.
" He was too young. Are you sure?"
The commander ask. The neighbor assured him that Vlad was fit for such a position so the commander hand him a form.
" Be sure and prepare yourself after fill this form up and submitting it. " Then the commander left.
Vlad face glows like a sunshine. He was so happy and excited so he immediately thank his neighbor and return home then eagerly
fill it up in his room. After that, he keeps it in a folder inside an enveloped. Then he reminisce what just happened. He re imagined the commander's appearance. A pointed nose. An eyes as blue as the ocean and his hair. A blonde clean cut styled hair.
Wearing an army commander uniform. He smiles.
" I can't wait to join the army."
He whispered to himself.
The next morning, he got up early and packed his things. Then left their house with the envelope and his belongings. He ride a bus and goes to the said training academy for future army.
As soon as he arrives, everyone stares at him. Including the commander.
" I thought you would change your mind. I'm glad you don't. "
The commander said and left. After scanning the place, one of his classmates guide him to the office so he can ask the head official for his assign barracks. After that, he thank him and enters the office.
" Here is the basic info you need. Read it carefully. I have a lot of paper works. I'll just give you your schedule when I'm done of these. "
Vlad took the paper and leaves immediately.
He reads the note on the paper and then keeps it in his pocket.
He walks through the corridor. Continued to the outside halls until he reach the dorm. But strangely the room number was not there so he checks the note again. Because of that, he ask one janitor and he pointed the cabin outside. It seems special cause it was separated from others. Though he feel awkward, he still goes there and entered. Time slowly pass by. He fell asleep and when he wakes up he was surprise. The cabin belongs to commander himself. So he wakes him up.
" Sir!"
He tried to wake him up. The commander was so tired that he thought he was at his own room thinking that it was his favorite dog pet and accidentally pull him close and hugs him.
When he wakes up he immediately released Vlad and apologized.
Vlad was speechless and blushed all over.
" Sorry, I thought you were my dog. The committee were not convince of my story so they didn't give you any room. I feel sorry for you so I offer mine. "
He explained. Vlad nods in understanding.
It was the incident he won't forget. Outside of the academy, the commander was a very different person. And he admire him for that. And everyone were envious on him. They create gossips.
Soon, the commander was questioned but he explained that he couldn't just throw the trainee out. The committee starts to doubt at him. But the commander was more determined. He knew that
Vlad was something. And he was right.
Four years later Vlad graduated the training school. He rank first
and the commander was very proud of him. His first assignment
was a small town. He was given a task to maintained the peace and order in that place. Without any question, he took the assignment and starts his job. He thought it was simple. But a soon as he arrive at the place it was almost deserted.
That was he realized it was not small time but a crucial situation.
He began to study the situation before anything else and check for the civilians. One of them were scared of him but he manage to be friend with the young ones. Then others follow. Reporting to him that bandits and others dwell the area.
" Don't worry, I am here to end your sufferings. "
The next day, he saw the bandits and he goes out wearing a clothing like the civilians and talk to them. These guys were like his bullies at school so when they forces to scatter fear to people he grab his gun and point it to the leader.
"I am your opponent. Let the innocent go. "
He ordered. The leader chuckles. But as soon as he released the hostage, he keeps his gun and attack. He was like an action star.
The others tried to help their boss but all of them were thrown out.
" Gimme a break. And who the hell are you? "
Bruce Lee?, Jackie Chan?"
Then the leader chuckles. Wiping blood on his mouth.
Vlad Tin."
He uttered coldly.
The leader froze.
" Let's go. "
He told his men and left the place. People gather around and thank Vlad for his protection to them. That was his first experience at his mission and the next one is sure to be more handful than this.
