"Kamino ward?" I asked confused at this request
Tomura contacted me a week after.
"You know how to get there?" he spoke in a whisper at the other side of the line
"I do, it's just that place you've mention there is nothing there but an abandoned—"
"See you then" he hung up the call and I could tell he was calling from a payphone
I was never a trusting person, much less after what had just happened to me. But Tomura was different. I trusted him. I had to trust him.
The meeting place was an abandoned bar, which is enough information for me to know they weren't doing legal activities in a place like this. I still walked in either way. Upon my entrance I saw a purple shadowy figure standing well dressed in one of the corners of the bar. "Is this the Sone girl?" the figure asked to which Tomura appeared out of one of the backdoors nodding along, this time his face was completely covered by a hand prosthetic.
"I go by Kamimura now" I corrected
I still can't explain this. But the mist person reacted intensely at the mention of my name, it was a corporeal reaction, almost primal, almost as if "Kamimura" was a trigger for something much deeper.
"Get a hold of yourself Kurogiri" Tomura snapped, "We have a visitor"
"My apologies" the mist, or well, Kurogiri, returned back to his original demeanor
"What do you have in your face? Why did you call me here? And is the purple guy okay?" I began questioning, suddenly seeing all the red flags around me
"You ask a lot of questions, child" this time, Tomura didn't speak, but it was a voice coming from a TV nearby. There was nothing playing on the TV but only the sinister voice that appeared to be speaking to us as if they were in the room as well.
"Master" Tomura said, this time more subserviently, "This is the girl that I mentioned, I am certain she might be of use"
"Do you believe so, Tomura?"
"She can be in our side, we just need to lead her"
The more time passed, the more deranged the situation looked, and the more in danger I assumed I would be if I tried to just leave.
"I see" the voice stopped for a second, as if it were analyzing me, "what is your quirk child?"
"How is that important?"
"Just answer him, Kamimura" Tomura demanded
"It's called Tempest" I sighed defeated, "I can control the weather but it is really unstable. I haven't used it since I kil–" my words trailed off for a moment, feeling Tomura's gaze on me. "I haven't used it since the accident. It's dangerous"
"I am sure you are aware of Tomura's dangerous quirk too, right?"
"I saw it"
"Then you should not you will not be judged for that"
"What is it that you guys want? What is it that you do?" I turned to Tomura this time
"Tomura spoke highly of you," the voice interrupted before anyone else could answer my questions. "He believes you might aid our cause, what do you think?"
"What's the cause?"
"We want to show the world the true nature of heroes, and de..." Tomura was suddenly riled up but his words were cut short
"Tomura" the TV spoke again, "For now, let's say we just want to turn the tide in our favor. Our plans are still in process I cannot divulge further more for now, I am sure you understand"
