The Past Comes Back

The Tunnel Travelers

As they wake up the next morning Blaze lands next to Blitz. "Blitz there were a few stragglers from the rogue towards the morning it might be best to start moving as soon as possible to afford being spotted."
Blitz nods "Understood." He goes and wakes everyone up. "Come on everyone into the tunnel we need to get through here to our new place. The horses stay, it might be a bit weird for random travelers to show up on horses, open a tavern, and integrate all in less than a day, where as if we say we were working on the tavern to make finishing touches it's a lot more believable."
Everyone nodded in agreement before Garnet and Blaze go into the tunnel Moonshine and Batey take the center of the group with Blitz and Blake watching their back just in case.
"Ok it automatically closes once I'm far enough away that it can't detect my voice so about fifty meters when I'm talking normally. Also there may be some bats or spiders in here from when I was digging at night and accidentally opened a couple tunnels into two monster dens luckily I cut them off before too many can enter." Garnet says
Blitz nods "Thanks for the heads up." As they keep walking Blaze hears a screeching from the front while Blitz hears skittering in the back. slowly about ten bats and twenty spiders come into view. Blitz jumps forward and pulls out his magnum with a custom barrel for holding eight shots instead of six and fires into the spiders, quickly reloading and taking out fifteen of the twenty total spiders as Blake rushes in and starts slicing the heads off of four more the last one trying to attack him from behind just as an arrow pierces it fired from Batey who then turns and takes out two of the bats garnet enchants Blaze's Shortsword and slices a flame strike through the last eight bats. As they stood panting Blitz slowly stood back up "Ok, back to the tunnel."
"Right." Blaze and Garnet say and turn leading them down a side tunnel and to a different exit which Garnet activated.
The metal door slowly opens and reveals a small forest right outside of a village. "Follow me." Garnet says and goes into a nearby building.
Everyone looks at each other before shrugging and following. "Hey Doc, get Shade and Darkness and come meet Blitz."
Doc sighs and gathers everyone up. Garnet introduces everyone, "Everyone this is Blitz the one that helped me find my potential." She then turns to Blitz. "Blitz this is Doc, he's a Spirit with the combo of an Alchemist Mage. This is Shade, he's a Halfling with the combo of Taming Shadow. Finally, this is Darkness, A beastfolk with the combo of Mechanic Smith." Blitz shakes each of their hands
"So this is the one you told us, so much about well if she trusts ya so do I." Shade says, the other two nodding in agreement.
