Chapter Nine
James was explaining to Ben at his desk that he was relieved that he found the murderer who killed Alisha Williams. Sam Williams was being arraigned in court and he pleaded not guilty for murdering Alisha. Now James and Ben had to continue investigating the case of John Wayne, Sadie Rover and the little boy.
"So, now we know that Ray Thompson is real. And I wonder why Johnny lied about him telling us that he hasn't heard from him in a long time," says James.
"Well, do you think Ray Thompson killed John Wayne and accused Johnny of killing John Wayne?" wondered Ben.
"Well now that we know Ray Thompson is real, then where is he?" wondered James.
"So if Johnny says that if Ray Thompson finds out what bad things he does, I'm thinking Sam Williams was told by Ray to kill Alisha Williams," says Ben.
"And Johnny must work for Ray," says James, thinking for a second.
"Think about it. If there was a surveillance video showing that Alisha Williams was being attacked by Sam, then having Johnny take her inside his house, while Alisha was fighting to break free, then I'd say that Sam must have gone to find Alisha Williams after she escaped from something, and he kills her," says James once again.
"So the perp who killed John Wayne and Sadie Rover, I'd say they got rid of evidence on purpose, as well as getting rid of evidence on who killed Alisha Williams, but Josh Williams saw Sam wearing black clothing and a ski mask, and holding a murder weapon in his hand, the knife he used to kill Alisha. He wipes it off with some alcohol to get rid of the fingerprints, that's why forensics had a hard time trying to find the person who killed Alisha Williams and except Josh Williams didn't know that it was Alisha who was killed," says Ben.
"But why would Ray Thompson pay Sam Williams to kill Alisha? I mean, one other woman is dead, the same way Alisha had died, Sadie Rover, and a little boy was also stabbed and wearing an old t-shirt and some shorts and he also looked like he was starved." says James.
Ben sighed. "Sadie Rover also starved. I mean, what if these people were killed on purpose?" Ben wondered.
"I mean, yeah. It's obvious. I'd say that Sadie Rover was killed on purpose just like Alisha Williams and John Wayne. But if Sam Williams killed Alisha, then he probably killed John Wayne and Sadie Rover as well as the little boy," says James.
"So, do you know where we could possibly find Ray Thompson? Since "Johnny," says that he hasn't heard from him in awhile, And Sam literally confessed about Ray Thompson after we specifically asked him if he knew Ray Thompson and he says he doesn't know him whenever we went to his house and talked to him about the loss of his wife," says Ben.
James clears his throat and he sighed. "So if the neighbors said they'd hadn't heard of Ray Thomson, then I'd say Ray must had used a fake name to tell the neighbors that his real name isn't really Ray Thompson," says James.
"I'd never thought of that," answered Ben.
"What if?" says James.
"What if what?" wondered Ben.
James nods his head not knowing what to say to Ben. "I don't know. I'd just think something weird is really going on here. I just can't figure out what," says James. Ben nods his head. Until James gets a phone call. It was a patrol officer who was calling James. James answered the phone and he says, "Detective Harrison."
The patrol officer was explaining to James that another woman and a little girl were murdered. James scoffs. "Okay. Thank you," says James, before he hung up the phone.
