IT HAS BECOME SO weird these last days. Ever since the drama on Asher's party things took a strange turn. Jordan and I have been avoiding each other. It wasn't like we said it out loud but it was obvious. The stolen glances, the unspoken tension and the way we'd both find excuses to leave the other room if the other walked in.

It's not how I wanted things to be but my pride was too high to speak first.

The night after Asher's party, I wanted to talk to him and fix it. Whatever was going on for him to act so weird. I wanted to understand and make things  normal again but as you can guess, I didn't do it.

The thought of me being the one to break the silence didn't sit right with me. Especially since he made the mistake not me.

Why should I be the one to reach out when he's the one who messed things up? It felt like I'd be giving in too easily, and my pride just wouldn't let me do it.

On top of that, Olivia had been acting really weird too, especially towards Spencer. I think it's because Jordan ruined their moment, but there could be more behind it all.

She avoided Spencer at all costs, which I understood. I mean, I get that she wanted to stay away from him out of embarrassment but when she started avoiding me too. I was confused. It just didn't make sense. Why was she pushing me away as well? It felt like there was something else going on.

Something I couldn't figure out.

Still, I decided not to overthink it and just surround myself with the only normal people who made sense to me
In this case, that was only Layla, Spencer and Asher. They were the ones who kept things simple and didn't bring all the drama at the moment.

After all, it was a special day that deserved to be celebrated without complications and a lot of drama.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Spencer." I called out, walking up behind him in the kitchen. Spencer jumped. Clearly startled by my sudden appearance.

"Geez, you scared the crap outta me," Spencer laughed, turning around to face me. "That was part of my plan for telling you 'happy birthday,'" I grinned leaning against the counter.

"You could've just come to me like a normal person and said 'happy bday,'" he rolled his eyes, though he couldn't hide the smile. "And where would be the fun in that?" I responded, giving him a crooked smile.

"You're impossible." Spencer muttered, shaking his head.

"Yeah but you love it." I shrugged with a playful smile.
