" This is a guide for people who luv to draw anime, Just like me. I know how it feels when you draw things and it doesnt turn out right. It feels horrible. So try out my simple & easy guide" ( warning there willl be alot of " shouting" )
For Starters...
When you start drawing anime I advise you to draw simple characters. One with not alot of color mixing and details. Also dont draw it in your own mind. Start out by copying someones anime character. What Im saying is dont start with difficult things. I would advise with drawing "chibi" or mini anime to start of. THese have less sketches and less shadow. More solid line which makes it easier. Whe you start this most people would draw a shape of body and add on to make the full person. But I like drawing from eye. Without guidelines. If you prefer guidlines read the next chapter which will be coming soon. If you like drawing from eye, read THIS!
Drawing your first chibi (EYESIGHT NO GUIDELINES )....
Pick a simple chibi character for start. Print out or have the picture nearby for looking at. To start I would advise starting with the head. The head is the best place to start of with because its usally the easiest thing to draw, and its also a great place to start off of. When you start drawing, make sure you have a GOOD eraser. Not one that puts gray marks all over your drawing. It makes your drawing look sloppy. Also a sharpened pencil. Also DO NOT draw hard. Draw lightly or sketch or else if you use a good eraser it still wont dissapear! NOw anyways, the head is usally VERY easy to sketch. Also when you draw the head, dont draw up to the point where the hair starts, try to assume where the head would...well continue! After you finish the head, pause and stand back. Look at the picture you were copying and the compare to yours. If you see anything that you NEED to change, adjust it SLOWLY! You NEVER rush with a drawing. If you rush you can completely mess it up and lose confidence! After youve finished taking a good look of your drawing, You should continue to the neck. I know you are thinking. Hey! The heads not done! What about the face and the hair. The reason why I wouldnt reccomend doing details such as that is that if you need to erase the head you have to it all over again! Thats an absolut pain. So wait until LATER to add these details After finishing up the head I would start with the neck. With chibis their necks are short but not necessarily wide. Some chibis dont even have the neck because the way they are positioned is different. THe neck should techinically be the easiest thing to draw in chibi and anime characters. after you finish the neck you can either go 2 ways. Continue down through the body or start doing the face and hair. Take a choice. choice 1 : body choice 2: Face and hair
( Choice 1) For the body, You cant really base off of anything but the neck so you need to take slow steps. When i say slow steps, I mean VERY slow steps. first slowly and lightly sketch. Make sure to look back and forth to compare. AFter you draw something ( even just a small bend or line) pause and take a look. If you just go in all one go THEN look at it, You will have to erase it ALL to fix it. Which trust me, Ive done. If you dont want to learn it the hard way..( like me ) Take your time even if the drawing takes you 2 weeks.
( Choice 2 ) Are you prepared to do the most ANNOYING step in drawing EVER. Yup. If your reading this I hope you are. First of all Im going to go for the easier one of the two. The hair Is pretty hard. You have to TRY to imitate something like THAT exactly. Which, is officially IMPOSSIBLE. So Im here to tell you before you get SOO aggrivated from the hair thats not looking EXACT, and you giving up, I only have 5 words. DO NOT DRAW IT EXACTLY!!!! Yes you heard. Dont draw it exactly considering it is impossible without tracing a single line. Which is a way to get complimented on your TRACING but not your hard drawn work. Which, in my opinion is the worst. Now for the hair, try to imitate it. If 1 little curve is off by litterally a milliliter let it slide. I would even change the hairs position if its really that hard. ( BY the way I am letting out ALL the anger from when this happens to me) Honestly, In your entire drawing theres nothing that can EXACTLY match that chibi drawing. NOTHING. If your chibi has a dress one fold might be missing. You DONT have to erase the whole entire thing just because of a FOLD. I know your saying, What about percisness. I want you to be percise AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. I dont want you stressing your hair out just because of ONE measly mistake. * sighs * Now that you get the message make sure you keep it in mind. However if you take what im saying a bit too far and make your character look something really anything but the picture you have near, YOu HAVE to fix it. Now on to the eyes. I absolutly HATE doing them. At first when you start, your like YAY I WANT TO DO THER EYES theyre so pretty. Their pretty all right but trust they are the MOST ANNOYING THING EVER!!!TO me the eyes are NOT hard to draw " individually." If you take it in like that, its the easiest thing in t he worlds. But when you do the 2nd eye. YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT SEMETRICAL IN LITTERALLY EVERY WAY!!! Try that and you will see why I HATE EYES. Well techinically, sometimes I do. I will admit that. If you can do this very easily, im impressed!
! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey guys, I know youve noticed this. I just literally changed all of my content. Yes I did, I realized I did WAY to much un detailed specifics. SO after reading it in my mind, I changed it into in my opinion, a writing 10x better then its origional.
