Starr marveled at the sight of the mansion, the house was very beautiful and it was obviously the best in that area. She had no problem with entering the house, she just explained to the security that she was Lilian's daughter and they let her in. She pressed the door bell and a man opened the door, he was dressed in a uniform.
"Good afternoon sir " She greeted
"Good afternoon, how may I help you?" He asked looking at her suspiciously
" Lilian is sick so I came to help her, I am her daughter " Starr explained
"Oh nice to meet you, please come in " He smiled and let her inside.
The interior of the house was more beautiful than the outside, expensive furniture, marble floors and crystal chandeliers. The room screamed opulence.
"Who's that Steve " A girl sneered coming downstairs. She looked gorgeous in her designer dress, she was a bit taller than Starr with big round eyes and chestnut hair color.
"Miss Kayla, she's the housekeepers daughter, she came in place...." She raised her hand and he stopped talking and left
"Hi, my name is Starr " Starr smiled and the girl rolled her eyeballs and sat on one of the couches with her legs crossed and began to press her phone.
"You're still here? Go upstairs and arrange my room" Kayla yelled.
"I-I'm sorry, Miss Kayla , I'll get right on it." Starr replied nervously and went upstairs.
"Pathetic" Kayla murmured and focused her attention back on her phone
Starr met Steve on her way and he showed her the room where they kept the cleaning supplies.
She opened the door and shook her head at the sight of Kayla's room. Her clothes were scattered around every corner and the packs of snacks she ate everywhere like it was a dump site. She began with folding the clothes and arranging them in the closet before she moved on to sweeping and cleaning the floors.

Leah rolled her eyes as she entered the house, everywhere smelled of alcohol and weed.
"Dad, I just cleaned the house " She yelled but it was pointless. He was passed out on the ground.
She just stepped out to get some food for dinner and he returned in her absence and messed up the whole place.
She picked the half empty bottle of alcohol on the floor and threw it outside before coming back to clean his puke and dragged him to his room, when he wakes up, he can take care of himself.
"How did I get myself into this mess" She sniffed and pulled out a sandwich from the bag and began to eat. The house was hot because the light supply had been cut off, she didn't pay for the month. The house lacks electricity and running water.
She picked up her phone staring blankly at it as she scrolled through social media.
Just as she was about to put her phone down, it buzzed with an incoming text.
Leah's heart skipped a beat as she read the text
"Hey Leah, want to grab coffee with me this weekend - Oliver?" Oliver's text read.
Leah's face broke into a smile, the cute guy from the department store.
She quickly typed out a response
"Sure, that sounds like fun. When were you thinking?"
Leah sent the text and then anxiously waited for Oliver's response. She couldn't help but feel a little excited at the prospect of going out with him
