"We have to prepare," Asena said, after what felt like forever.

"For what?" Isabella asked. "OK, we know something's going to happen, but we don't know what, so how are we supposed to prepare?" she said.

"Alora, you're the one solving problems," Asena said, turning to look at me.

"Yeah.. let me think," I said, and they fell quiet. The quietness was actually really scary and anxieting, but that's not what I was supposed to think about.

So we have to prepare for... something. And the question is: what for? We have no idea, and that's the problem.

"Um... well, what possibilities there is? What it may be, let's go through every choice," I said. I couldn't think anything better in so little time.

"Someone may die?" Asena suggested.

"Yeah, possibly," I replied.

"What if someone gets a serious disease?" Isabella suggested.

"Or if someone's home burns?" I suggested.

"That's three possibilities, anything else?" Asena asked.

"We may move away?" Isabella suggested. "That at least changes our lives, and something bad may happen then," she added.

"Or if one of us moves?"

"Here may start a war?"

"What if the library burns?"

"Or if someone close to us dies?"

"Our friend may turn out bad?"

"Magic?"

"We go back in time?"

"If we go to the future?"

"Anything else?" Asena asked then.

"Well... if Claus dies?" Isabella said. "But no, nothing else."

"Isabella, Adler and I are enemies, I don't give a shit about him," Asena said.

Please don't start a fight about him.

Please don't start a fight because of him.

Please don't start a fight about him.

Please don't start a fight because of him.

I kept repeating in my mind. I don't want them to fight.

"Not even if he dies, huh?" Isabella asked, crossing her arms.

"No. I don't even understand what is so nice about him. He's a total asshole," Asena shot back, crossing her arms as well.

Please don't start a fight.

Please don't start a fight...

"Please don't fight," I whispered, and they turned their gazes at me.

"Yeah, you're right," Asena said after a while. "He's not even a person worth fighting over," she added, and to that Isabella looked like she wanted to say something but kept her mouth shut.

"Thank you. Now, can we return to our first topic?" I asked then, and they both nodded.

"Well... I didn't think there may be so many possibilities, so this turned out pretty hard now," I said. "Because any of those can happen, some perhaps more likely than others, but anything is possible," I continued.

"So, what are we going to do?" Isabella asked.

"The only thing I can think about is to prepare to everything that is possible to be prepared for," I replied.
