Karl pov

What do you usually do after killing a monster? Most people would say check the zone and if there are any injured, but not my group. We're on our way to McDonald's.

While we walked I looked at alex, he looked lost in thought since he randomly ran away in the forest. What's with this dude's mind? Let me tell you that, you won't find out easily. We're lucky he's smiling with us.

The first time I met him he wouldn't let anyone get 1 foot close to him, why? No idea, some trauma I guess. He looks like your typical 'emo' kid. Black massy hair that covers his eyes, grey eyes and he's short, like if Santa existed he would be one of his elves.

I got snapped out of my thoughts by an annoying mosquito, Sky, who was flying around me. I was one more world close to turning him into a frog, but luckily we got to the main street, finally.

Sky got on the ground and the wings in his shoes were gone. She finally was walking, don't get me wrong he was still a mosquito, just with no wings.

"I hate this so much! why can't I fly!" Sky complained, I swear he can be such a child sometimes.

"Because mortals could see you" Alex siad, he's been really quite this whole walk.

After a long ass time of walking we finally arrived. Sky was the first to walk in followed by Noah and Sophie, who was trying to stop sky from ordering half of the menu.

I looked over at Alex, he wasn't exactly walking in. "Lex? you're okay?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"huh? oh yeah, just tired." Alex mumbled. Just tired. that's his go to excuse and if you argue he won't give up, he just will keep saying he's fine and that I don't have to worry about him. But I do worry about him.

"After you then.." I said letting him enter first. He grinned at me. "Thanks princess." He said, I hate that nickname, but that wasn't the place to argue about a stupid nickname.

As we got in, and ordered the food alex was staring at the cashier like it was his worst enemy, why? no idea. I've never seen that dude in my life.

He had dark blond hair, with black eyes, he didn't look too attractive, but he wasn't to ugly. He was tall, really tall. And his face wasn't giving me pleasuring feelings. Maybe just because Alex walked looking at him with a strange expression or maybe just because the dude looked like he was about to jump over the corner and attack us.

But anyways I just ignored it and, helped Noah order.

Alex pov:

That face. I've never saw it before. But at the same time, I've known who that was. But why was it there? Is he hunting me or something? Can't I just be in peace and eat something for one fucking minute of my life!

Anyway, I had to pay, I don't want the police after me. I had to walk up to him. But my head was getting dizzy and really heavy. Sophie noticed and walked next to me, she didn't say a word, she just was there, and so was her shoulder, which looked like the best option to not drop down on the floor and make everyone worried.

So I gripped her shoulder as a support. She kept talking with the others, not minding. My vision started to get blurry, The only person I could see was that man. He was looking straight at me.

"Alex" A voice echoed, I could see his lips moving. But I could feel the voice all around me.

"Alex...I give you one more chance. Join me, and I'll make a man out of you." The voice said, now I could give a name to the face. Theron. You know? the dude who wanted to take over Olympus, yes another one who wants to take over Olympus, we're collecting them like Pokémons.

I could just shake my head no, J was feeling too dizzy to answer. Lucky him, otherwise he would have heard my insults, and I wouldn't have gone soft.

"you will regret this choice. You will come crawling to me. That's your destiny." He echoed.

Well no shit, my destiny also was to die at the age of 10, but hey bitch, im still alive, just with mental illness, and no money or time for a therapist.

The air was growing heavy, I could almost feel my legs giving up, what a great day to be alive. I closed my eyes for a second and when I opened them, there he was, right in front of me. What in the five nights at Freddy's Jump scare was that?

His hand moved forward to touch my head, but before he could do so, Noah shook me, snapping me out of that. I looked at Noah, who was showing me what he got in his happy meal.

"You're okay?" Noah asked, holding a hello kitty toy. I looked at him closing and opening my eyes for some seconds and then just nodding and sitting down.

"alex." Sophie said. I know what that tone meant, she wanted answers.

"You basically were passing out dude, if you wanted to clean the floor this bad I suggest a broom not your face." Sky said, with his usually joking tone. He can't take anything serious, even if his life depends on it.

I looked at Karl, his eyes met mine, he looked.. worried? that man could prove other emotions other than annoyance? damn that's a first.

"fine..just don't freak out." I said as I sat back, I started telling them everything, and looked at their shocked faces. We know someday something like this would happen, something where we had to save
the world. But come on. This? This was just annoying.

"So..you saw the son of your grandpa, who asked you to join him in talking over Olympus?" Sky asked to make sure he understood correctly. I nodded.

"We're fucked" Noah concluded while eating his chicken nuggets and the others just nodded.

This could end really well or really bad.
