He ignored my existence.
He walked past me without even giving a glance, not even the faintest flicker of recognition.
Not in seven hells was I going to let that go unnoticed.
So I said in a really mocking tone.
"You might be so busy attending all the lectures, Am I right Mr Malhotra ,Ohhh Sorry , I really forgot you got suspended,My bad "
I knew he'd definitely turn around. I knew he would.
There was something about the way I said it—the edge of mockery, the bite in my voice—that I knew would get to him.
And, just as expected, his shoulders stiffened, his eyes narrowing.
He turned with a suddenness and in a long stride he just stood right infront of me .
His brown eyes were burning with rage, the kind of fury that made the room feel as though it were closing in on me.
My own eyes, no less furious, met his, and I could feel the heat between us, thick and suffocating. Every muscle in my body was wound tight with anger.
He didn’t come to check on me.
And now he had the audacity to walk over my face, like I was nothing.
Like everything that had happened between us, the arguments, the insults, the way we had ripped each other apart, meant nothing at all.
I've known him for past three years , I literally face him every day and that's the moment I loathe.
