Aditya and Mahira, paired up.

The universe had a cruel sense of humor, I swear.

Of all the students in the room, these two. A match made in hell, and I wasn't sure which one was more unbearable.

From the moment she stepped into the hall, I could feel her eyes on me.

I hadn't said a word to her, hadn't done anything to provoke it, yet there she was, giving me looks that were impossible to ignore.

And honestly, I don't even want to waste my time talking about the guy standing next to her.

Overall, I just ignored both of them the entire time. The debate didn't go as well as I'd hoped, and honestly, I was pretty upset about it.

So, I decided to head over to my dad for some comfort.

But when I walked in, I saw papa casually chatting with him .

The last thing I wanted was to see him so at ease, laughing and talking like they were old friends.

Papa really calmed the storm raging inside my head.

His daughter above anything else .
You know.

And then the bitch joined us .
