My mind was a whirlwind, thoughts spiraling out of control as I tried to process everything. The text had shaken me to my core.

But Aditya, with his calm demeanor and steady presence, had somehow managed to keep me collected through it all.

I hated to admit it, but he was the only person who had been my anchor until now.

I had texted him back, my fingers trembling as I typed out my feelings, but he hadn’t replied.

Days went like this .

Even I started shoving the thoughts back.

Then, out of the blue, he called me today.

“I’m here in Delhi,” he said, his voice warm yet laced with an undercurrent of something I couldn’t quite place.

My heart pounded heavily in my chest, each beat echoing the memories of the past. It had been years since I had heard his voice, years since I had felt the warmth of his touch.

After hanging up the phone, my heart raced with a mix of anxiety and dread.

Mujhe papa se baat karni hai.
Mujhe papa se baat karni hai.

This was the sentence wandering in repetition inside my head.

“Aanya!” I called out as I rushed past her . She looked up from her phone, her expression shifting from surprise to concern.

“I’m going to meet Papa okay "

“Wait! I wanted to tell you something!”

she called after me, but I didn’t stop.

My mind was a chaotic storm, swirling with memories and emotions that I wasn’t ready to confront.

I ran to my father’s office, my heart racing and my mind on the verge of breaking down.

Each step felt heavier than the last, the weight of my emotions pressing down on me like a suffocating blanket.
