It was around 7:30 the sun was setting making the sky look pink mixed with purple and red. It was the most beautiful sight. I opened my back door to see it setting on the horizon of the water.

I took a seat on the grass, loving the feeling of the warm sun hitting my face as it slowly went down. The air wasn't to hot nor to cold it was a perfect temperature.
I rested on my back, my hands lay flat in my stomach as I look at the sky that was starting to slowly grow dark and the starts come out along with the moon.
At this moment I felt nothing that could bother me. Everything left my head to leave me with out a care in the world if there was a criminal on the loose.

The wind slowly blew, shaking the tree. The birds chirped as they flew freely around the sky chasing each other.

There was clouds that grew darker and I knew tonight there was going to be another storm.  A sigh left my lip. I didn't want to leave but I had to before it starts to pour.
I got up from my spot and began to walk back inside but I looked back at the sun that was gone and now the moon that hung high in the sky with the stars.
The light glistening on the water as the ducks swam peacefully around the water. I closed the back door not to forget to lock it and close the curtain.

I walked over to the light the was for the kitchen to have a little light in the house and flicked it on but the light didn't turn on.
I looked confused at the light switch and turned it off then on but nothing worked.

I carefully walked into the kitchen making sure to not bump into anything as it was very hard to see. I grabbed the flashlight that was in a cabinet and walked out and down to the basement. It was very rare for me to go down in the basement. All that was important down there was the electric box. But there was a few box that I didn't bother to open when I moved here.

I turned the flashlight on and walked towards the basement door.
I grabbed the handle to the basement door and pushed it open to see it pitch black.

I shinned the flash light to see all the boxes in one corner. There was other things that the previous owner left which was quiet a lot i must say.

I shine the flash light around the walls to find the electric box.
I stopped a metal box that hung on the wall. I shunned the light to it, It looked like it was painted over to make it camouflage with the wall.

I struggled to open it at first, but faithfully opened it. There was multiple switches, and it was hard to tell which was which cause of the labels fading.

I shine the lights on the label looking very hard at the fading letters that were in the tape.
I was glad when I found the switch for the lights. I flicked the light on but nothing worked.

I tried again and again but nothing seemed to work. I frantically flicked all the other switches trying to see if it worked but nothing.

I stood in the dark try to find if there was something else that would have caused the lights to go out. It wasn't raining or thundering so that wasn't the cause of it.
I turned around and was about to leave but something caught my eyes that was under the electric box.
I shinned the light under the electric box to see the wire for the electric box was cut.

"What the fuck?"
You stared at the box with a shocked face. How could the wire possible be cut!

I flashed the light around the basement trying to see if there was anything or some one that caused it but there wasn't anything.
There was was a crash that came up stairs. I shinned the light towards the basement door and made my way up the basement but the flashlight starts to flicker signaling that the battery was about to die.

"No no no no no no" I said while hitting the flash light frantically trying to making the light stay on but it didn't work. The ligh went off leaving me in complete dark.

"I should've changed the battery" I cursed and continued to make my way up the stairs cautiously.

I open the door and hear another crash coming, it sounded like it was coming in the family room.

My eyes tried to adjust to the dark, the only light shining was from the moon.

I walked closer to where the noise I have heard from a while ago. All I can hear was the sound of my heavy breathing and my footsteps as I walked around, my arms spread in front of me just In case I run into something .

There was another crash that was not to far away from me. I turned to the right and began to walk where I heard the noise. My eyes squinted as I try to see. There was something moving but I couldn't quiet know what it was.

What ever I saw quickly disappeared. I looked around walking around still trying to find what that noise is coming from.

My feet stopped and my heart raced as I felt something or some one breathing next to my ear.
My body was shaking as I felt around trying to feel something that was causing the air next to my ear. But I felt nothing.

"I told you I was coming for you"

My breathing stopped as I hear the voice behind me. I quickly turn around looking hard but I see nothing.

"you didn't listen, your in so much trouble baby girl"
