The sun dawned on Roswall mansion. In the main hall a white maiden was standing with her floating spirit. A man of a darker aura kneeling before her creating a contrast between them.
"Are you vowing to serve me until the very end?"
And the last vow was demanded.
"I do."
Subaru answered without looking up.
"Then I am gladly accepting you as my faithful knight."
"Rise."
Subaru rose from his place. Locked eyes with emilia.
"This is the weapon I bestow upon you."
In her hands was a fine sword.
Subaru took the sword and inspected the ironwork.
"A fine sword that is."
Emilia smiled.
Roswall was watching silently as the ceremony went forward.
What a strange man...
Beako thought.
As things were about to wrap up. An explosion was heard.
"W-what was that?" Emilia asked.
"I sense that we are under attack. Ram,rem with me. Let our knight and Emilia-sama train their tema skills."
Roswall commanded.
"Yes, Roswall-sama!!"
Maids exclaimed as one.
"Beako with me."
Subaru looked at Subaru.
"As you wish, I suppose."
"Emilia-sama lets go."
Subaru lent out his orders as well.
The trio and the spirit were making their ways toward the mansion gates until...
"Child..."
The world went dark and Subaru was alone with that man.
"You..!"
The man regarded Subaru carefully.
"The toy that is dangling around your hips."
Subaru looked at the sword he just acquired.
"What an insult. Give me that."
The man held his hand out.
For some reason Subaru complied without question. He seemed to trust this man. The source of his new powers...
The sword began to grow dark and transform in his hands.
"There. Name it. Your sword is a part of yourself."
Subaru looked at the sword. Black and long with curves that appear and disappear as he looked at it.
"Judgment."
"Not bad. But why?"
Subaru stopped for a moment.
"Because I decide who gets to continue or not. I am the Judge. And this is my judgment."
Fusion froze in his place.
Magnificent!!!
And he let out a loud laughter.
"What a perfect answer!"
"Now go. Bring judgment to your enemies and foes alike. Carry it with bloodlust."
