Hi There! I'm going to try and write this in English even though I'm Swedish.

The story contains some words some of you might react to, so please remember that I warned you if you're sensitive to some of the words.

I'm gonna keep this chapter short. Enjoy!

"The girls are gonna be all over me, just wait and see, Lara" Tom says with a way to confident grin on his lips while he flex his muscles. This boy couldn't have more self-esteem.

"Oh really, do you know what?" I turn my head towards him while we're walking on the road to my house. He turns his head quickly, with an even bigger smile.

"What, cutie pie?" he says and winks at me.

"The only pussy you gonna get this summer is that cat of yours, you wanker!" He loses his grin and push me a few inches to the left. I start laughing so that my eyes tears up.

"That's not funny!" he says even though I can see a smile hide behind his grumpy face.

"Tom, I know you good enough to know that you find that funny." I say while pushing my shoulder against his. He starts laughing as well. I could never joke like that with anyone, but since Tom and I have known each other since we've been able to walk I know what he can take. He's my neighbor and my best friend. I'm not shy when I'm with him.

"OK, Lara?" We stop outside my house and we turn to face each other.

"Yaas, Toom" I try to copy his voice by using my deepest voice. He just looks at me and laughs.

"What was that?" he says with a really confused smile.  I just lift my shoulders and pout my lips. "Yeah whatever, you're weird." I look at him fake surprised and hit his arm as hard as I can even though I'm very weak. "Ouch.. But anyways! Our birthdays are coming up soon and you haven't forgot our plans right?" I look at him confused. I  really don't remember. I know his birthday is three days after mine, which makes me the oldest and I never let him forget that, but I don't remember any plans.

"What plans?"

"Jeez Lara! Have you forgot about the party?" I look at him embarrassed. "Please tell me you have at least asked your parents" he asks me with a serious look on his face.

"Um.. I kind of.. forgot about that.." I say looking down at feet.

"Great." he says and sighs.

"But hey! I can ask them tonight, nut-head!" I say smiling and pushing him away from me a few inches. "Now walk home, will ya!"

Tom lives only two houses down the road from my house. We live in a rich neighborhood with only rich douche bags surrounding us. Tom and I are kind of the only ones who can relax around here. Well at least when we're alone.

"OK then" we smile towards each other. "GOOD FUCKING NIGHT, READING!" he yells as he's walking down the road. Jeez, could he be any louder!

"You really are nuts,Tom! Goodnight." I say before walking across my lawn to the front door.

My house is the biggest on the block. My parents are the richest bitches there is. And not to mention, with money comes responsibility, as my dad always say. Sometimes I wish I didn't have such strict parents like mine. I would gladly switch families with Tom, his parents are so much fun. I love my parents though, but they could at least smile more.

"Mom, I'm home!" I shout while taking off my shoes.

"There's no need to yell, I'm in the kitchen honey."

"Oh hi! Mom, I was just wondering." I say with the nicest voice possible. "It's soon my eighteenth birthday, as well as Tom's, so we were wondering.."

She turns around and looks at me with her 'what are you up to know' kind of face.
