I entered into the familiar office, where Dr Phillips was sat smiling. "Morning Megan, take a seat." She gestured to the rather uncomfortable plastic chair. I sat down and we started out usual routine.
she asked me questions like...
"How are you feeling?"
"what have you been getting upset over this week?"
"have you tried this?"
"have you harmed yourself at all since the last time I saw you?" I froze, and gripped the edge of the chair till it was nearly bone deep. "Megan?" there was no getting out of it now, so I gave in and rolled up the sleeves of my school jumper, to reveal the mess I had made the previous day.
"why did you do it this time?" she was staring into my eyes. "is it because of school starting?" i gave her a quick nod, but I was too focused on keeping the tears back.
She gave me the familiar talk on how there are other solutions to the problem and hurting myself wasn't one. I just sat, staring at the floor, blocking out the repetitive murmur.
After the lecture was over, i grabbed my things thanked the therapist and left. I was basically running out of the reception but was stopped by a voice that I didn't recognise. "you erm left this on the chair when you got up." I turned around to see the dark haired boy holding my phone out. who was he? and why did I keep crossing paths with him?
A/N so this is a really short chapter but i felt like it was better to leave it there. i have nothing to do so i might upload the next chapter tonight!! i have the story mostly planned out so fingers crossed it turns out the way i want it to xxx
