Chapter 3

Habang naglalakad kami papuntang reception ay may lumapit sa'min na babae "Good po evening sir Alex." pag bati ng babaeng staff kay Alex at bahagyang yumuko. I saw her name tag. Her name is Jane. She's wearing a white fitted long sleeves, black trousers, her hair is tied in a bun and her makeup is dull but she still looks stunning. I thought we're the same height but i noticed that she's wearing heels so I'm probably taller than her.

"Good evening to you too ate Jane" sagot naman ni Alex "Ni-reheat naba ni kuya Felix yung mga pinakuto ko?"

"Yes po sir. Actually sir we just finished arranging the foods on the table beside your cabin." sagot naman ni Jane.

Alex smiled. "Ok, thank you po ate Jane." he replied. I like the way he says po and opo to someone older than him as a form of respect. "Oh ate where po si mamá?"

"She's in the pool po with your aunt Lisa. Your cousin Reyy and Sean is here din po playing with your little sister on the pool." she answered with a smile.

"Sige po salamat ate Jane." tumango ang babae at umalis na upang mag serve ng pagkain sa mga guests.

Habang naglalakad kami papunta sa kanyang cabin ay may biglang tumawag sa kanya. He excused himself while I wait and fidget with my phone amd he came back a minute or two later and said that her mother was looking for him.

"Sabi ko kay mamá kakain muna tayo then ipapakilala kita as my soon to be boyfriend." what the fudge? Soon to be boyfriend agad eh isang araw palang kaming mag ka-kilala.

"Whatever you say Alex." I said with a sarcastic tone and rolled my eyes on him.

"Bakit? Ayaw moba saken?" he said with a pout.

I laugh "Alex stop that, you look like a freaking dog HAHAHAHA!!!"

"Hmph! Bahala ka nga dyan." Tumalikod sya sakin at nag lakad papunta ng kanyang cabin.

"Hey you cute and handsome dog! Not fair! Your walks are bigger because you're tall as a kapre! Hirap mong habulin buset ka! Alex intayin mokoooo!!!" I shout as I run towards him.

"Ih. Ayaw mo naman saken diba."

"No that's not what I ment." He finally stopped walking. God this kid is a fast walker. I wonder if he's also fast in— ok shit don't think of that right now you pervert  "Wait let me catch my breath. I'm tired as fuck you asshole!"

"I'm sorry about that." I started when I felt his arm on my back and the back of my knees. Fuck he's carrying me in bridal style "Here, let me carry you to the cabin so we can eat." Hindi na ako nag inarte pa at nagpa buhat nalang sa kanya. To be honest I'm really tired kasi mag hapon akong nagtatrabaho sa cake cafe tas pag uwi di manlang nakapag pahinga kasi naligo agad at nag impake. Biglaan kasi yung date eh tapos 2 days pang mag s-stay dito so makakapag pahinga pa ako.

When we arrived at his cabin, he told me where the bedroom is para ilagay muna don ang mga gamit ko at iintayin nya daw ako sa labas. The bedroom is spacious. There's even a big TV and AC. Nang mailagay kona ang gamit ko sa kuwarto ay lumabas na agad ako.

We started eating dinner. The food is great. There's a bunch of sea foods like shrimp, crab, lobster, salmon and many more. There's also buffalo wings. I yanked one and dipped it to the gravy. I almost died, again, dahil sa ginawang gravy ng chef na si kuya Felix. Though I don't blame him kasi hindi naman nya alam na alergic ako sa pepper. Buti nalang may dala ako epi-pen. When I was a 15 my stepmother cooked adobo with black peppers because she didn't know that I'm allergic. I nearly died because my father wasn't there when we were eating. Buti nalang nahanap agad ng stepmother ko yung epi-pen ko so now I'm still alive. And no, that's not my fathers current wife. She didn't left us, she  died because she got hit by a car. My father remarried another woman 2 years later. She is the worst person I've ever met dahil mabait lang siya saken kapag andon si papa sa bahay. So on my eighteenth birthday, I told my father na babalik ako sa dati naming bahay na kung saan ako naka tira ngayon. May caretaker naman yung bahay so maayos pa. My father can't handle the pain that he felt when my mother died so he decided to buy another one and live there. Pinaalagaan nalang yung bahay sa caretaker na nahanap nya online.
