Lucian closed his eyes, listening to the sound of silence. To him, it was like the melodies of purity. The light radiating within and around the tower carried a sweet and heavenly subtle sound.
"Ahhhh... life, so beautiful," he sighed, inhaling deeply and letting the peaceful sensation fill him.
Opening his eyes, he took in the stunning intricacies of the throne room—the gilded throne, the glowing chandelier, and the crystalline walls that shimmered with an ethereal light.
"Amazing creation," he murmured, awe in his voice. "I have no idea where this place is, who I am, or what I'm supposed to do. But I have this unshakable feeling that I belong here. This throne is mine, and my essence is one with this tower."
Lucian wandered through the palace, discovering chambers designed with unmatched elegance. Everything reflected light, purity, and regal splendor. As he moved, he noticed a figure in the distance. The figure's garments were white as snow, accented with gold. His radiant skin glowed like light itself, his golden hair crowned by a luminous halo, and his archangelic wings shimmered with divine power.
"Hello, sir. Are you the owner of this beautiful home?" Lucian called out.
The figure didn't respond. Lucian stepped closer, his curiosity piqued. As he approached, the figure mirrored his movements. He realized with a start that he was looking at his own reflection in an ornate mirror.
"What magic is this?" Lucian whispered, astonished. "Is this who I am?"
He turned and twirled, examining his form like a child admiring a new outfit. He touched his arms, flapped his wings, and finally rested his hand on the crystal embedded in his forehead.
Suddenly, a voice echoed around him.
"Lucian!"
Lucian froze.
"I am Celestine, your predecessor. I have given you life. You are my reincarnation, though you are your own person. Within you lies my full power—a gift from my father, Arthaz, handed down from Verseya, and ultimately from the Creator, Ga-Eywa. You are now the God of Light in this world, Celestia. Your purpose is to create life, to foster purity and goodness, and to restore balance to this world."
"Restore balance?" Lucian asked, confusion etched on his face. "This place is the most peaceful I've ever seen. How could such harmony be thrown into chaos?"
Celestine's voice grew solemn. "Because of my father's failure, our bloodline bears a curse. Every reincarnation in our lineage must face a series of crises and chaos. It is your destiny to save this world when that time comes. The chaos will begin subtly, imperceptibly, even to you. It will grow from discord among the people. You must be vigilant in your creations and your leadership, Lucian."
Lucian's expression tightened with concern.
