Episode 2 // Season 1 - Eat the dust

Storytime with.. Melic!

{Melic's POV}

I was fighting a bunch of these stupid badniks with my team.. can't believe my own grandfather would put me and my friends into so much work like he does to my dad..

I punch and kick and yet it was just that easy to even try on destroying all of these pieces of junk, I mean.. I am the hero after all.. it should be easy as expected.. right?..

Oh wait!.. let's rewind.. I forgot to show you how I ended we like this

[~REWIND~]

...The day before all of that happened..

We were on a field trip, I was sitting beside my friend rebel, he was eating green type of grapes beside me, I didn't mind it, but his chewing sure was annoying..

We were getting past a few trees, the bus was not so far away from the school though since we had just left minutes ago.

I stared at the sky, seeing the clouds covering up the sky as it gets darker, it looked like it was about to create thunderstorms and heavy rain, so I just brush it off and stare at the students on the bus.

We were mixed up with the eight graders since there were only a few buses, and we had to share.

I decided to grab my school bag and grab my ray gun, which I invented myself!.. it's still on progress though.. I start to screw the bolts on it, making sure it's tightly held together.

Someone behind me and rebel were one of the eight graders, they were watching me fix my ray gun, and I could hear them murmuring and calling me a 'nerd'.. how funny..

As I continue to fix my ray gun, suddenly, a huge explosion occurred right in front of the school bus.

A bunch of the students panicked while me and rebel were in our seats, I looked at rebel in shock. "Now this isn't that field trip I expected.." I murmured.

Suddenly there were a bunch of badniks, which I could recognize.. those badniks started shaking the bus and a lot of students started screaming and running around and meanwhile our teachers tried to calm them down.

Rebel shivers and spoke to me. "Well sure need to get out of here.. quick!!" He grabs his stuff and rushes out of the school bus, I grab my things and follow behind him.

As we got out of the bus, one of the badniks spotted us and we immediately get on guard.

"rebel, you go take that badnik while I take this one.."

"On it!" Rebel ran and tackles the badnik while I spin dash the one who's behind me.

We fought them one by one after another, the students watched us and they were amazed. Somehow, they started cheering, encouraging us that we could take them down, Which we actually did!

Man.. I didn't knew this field trip could get any fun! As he stood there heroically after the fight, I snicker and of course.. impressed the ladies..

"Oh, our hero!" They called out to me.. I felt like a winner craving for another victory.. and—

"ALRIGHT, CAN WE JUST GET THIS OVER WITH!?" {Rebels POV}

"Alright, alright.. sorry... geez..." {Melic's POV}

We immediately told everyone to get out of the bus before it explodes, it surely wasn't easy since everyone was pushing each other and screaming, man.. I should've really just said get out of the bus safely.. but it's too late for that! Now.. moving on before I get impatient here..

The rest of the city was attacked and I knew I had to help out as my part time job, I looked at rebel and gave him a challenging look.
"Let's save this city once and for all!!"
