Hobi leaned against the edge of the dresser, arms crossed, as his gaze rested on Jungkook.
The younger man stood in front of the full-length mirror, adjusting the neckline of his maroon top. The soft light filtering through the sheer curtains bathed him in a golden glow, making him look like he had stepped out of a dream.
His perfectly styled dark hair framed his face, accentuating his doe eyes and delicate features. The subtle sheen of a red necklace beneath his neckline added an understated charm.
Hobi sighed inwardly, unable to tear his eyes away. It was impossible to blame Suga for being possessive over Jungkook. Like, who wouldn’t be? The boy was the epitome of effortless beauty, the kind that turned heads and stopped hearts.
If Hobi were in Suga’s shoes, he thought, he might go even further. He’d lock Jungkook away, hidden from the prying eyes of the world, keeping him safe from the sea of people who would undoubtedly drown him in attention.
"Do I look okay?" Jungkook's soft voice broke through Hobi's thoughts.
Hobi blinked, realizing Jungkook had turned to face him, an expectant look on his face. "Huh?" Hobi stammered before clearing his throat. "Oh, yeah. You look… perfect."
A faint blush dusted Jungkook’s cheeks as he smiled. "You think so? I feel like this outfit might be too much." He tugged at the fabric nervously, his fingers brushing against the pant.
"Too much?" Hobi scoffed, pushing off the dresser and walking over to Jungkook. "Jungkook, you could wear a potato sack and still outshine everyone in the room." He gestured at Jungkook’s reflection in the mirror. "Look at you. You’re flawless."
Jungkook chuckled softly, his gaze fixed on his reflection in the mirror. "That’s a curse then," he muttered, his voice carrying a playful lilt.
Hobi tilted his head and raised an eyebrow. "A curse? Oh, Jungkook, you’re such a beauty. If someone doesn’t feel something for you, I’d say that person is either blind or a lost case." His tone was teasing, but the sincerity in his words was unmistakable. "Seriously, I’ve been your manager for years, and even I’ve found myself in tough positions sometimes. It’s… it’s hard not to fall in love with you. Trust me."
