Jungkook strolled through the narrow, winding path of the resort, the soft hum of the night filling the air. The scent of saltwater lingered, mingling with the faint aroma of flowers from the nearby gardens.
He’d been on the verge of falling asleep when a hotel staff member had knocked on his door, informing him of a dinner arrangement. Confused but intrigued, he had sought Hobi for clarity. Unfortunately, Hobi had known little about it, leaving Jungkook with more questions than answers.
He sighed, his hands slipping into his pockets of the Boha dress he was wearing, as he walked ahead. The dim glow of lanterns strung along the path reflected in his sharp eyes, making them gleam like polished obsidian. Behind him, Hobi followed dutifully, flanked by two bodyguards.
As the path widened and the sound of waves grew louder, Jungkook spotted a hotel staff member standing near the edge of the beach. Beyond them, the most breathtaking sight greeted him.. a dining setup straight out of a dream.A single table adorned with flickering candles sat at the center of the beach, surrounded by delicate fairy lights that draped from poles like a canopy of stars. Soft music played in the background, blending perfectly with the rhythmic crash of waves.
Jungkook’s lips curled into a radiant smile, his heart swelling with a mix of pride and amusement.
Suga. Only Suga could pull off something this extravagant without warning. Even though Jungkook never accepted whatever his relationship with Suga was, it was moments like these that reminded him how much he loved these kinds of attention. Attention that made him feel like royalty, like a princess being wooed in a grand castle. He loved to be a princess without a prince.
Rubbing the tip of his nose with a soft chuckle, Jungkook allowed himself to bask in the scene for a moment before approaching the table. His soft slippers crunched softly against the sand as he stepped forward, the lights casting a golden hue on his features.
"Is this my dinner arrangement?" Jungkook asked the staff member, tilting his head in confusion and curiosity, sitting in the chair with a bright smile.
