Clunk
Went the box Enna stacked as she finished moving into her room at the new house Hayley and Elijah bought.
"So what do you think?" Elijah asked casually as he stood in the doorway, his hand resting against the frame. Hayley was just behind him, her arms crossed in a relaxed way.
"It's nice, I like it. It will be different having my own room though." Enna admitted as she looked around.
"You've never had your own room before?" Hayley asked as she tilted her head.
"No. I shared a tent with Inadu when I lived with my parents then when I got married I shared a tent with my husband." Enna explained.
"Well it will seem more homey once you personalize it. Hang up pictures, maybe paint the walls." Hayley said.
"Pictures confuse me. I think if anything I'd prefer paintings." Enna mumbled as she approached a window and looked out at the view of the lake.
"You can hang up whatever you'd like. Make the room your own." Elijah said.
"Well, lunch will be ready in a sec." Hayley said after a moment.

Enna sat on the living room couch with an empty grimoire for her to fill with spells. The one she was working on a was for a way to break Hayley's curse.
There was no doppelgänger blood involved like in Nik's curse.. so we don't need to sacrifice one.
She thought.
But if the binding ritual was different, so how different will breaking it be?
"Hope?" Enna caught her attention as she was sitting on the other couch.
"Yeah?" Hope asked.
"How was your father's sacrifice ritual performed?" Enna asked. Hope shrugged.
"I don't know, we've never really talked about it." Hope said. "Why?"
"Well if your father needed to sacrifice a doppelgänger than obviously one was involved in his binding but there wasn't one in your mother's. So I wondered if I could pinpoint the differences in their binding then maybe we could see what we need to do differently to unbind your mother." Enna said.
Hope though for a moment. Maybe that was what they were missing. They needed Esther's grimoire to figure out how to unbind Hayley.
"Hold on." Hope said as she got up and entered her room. She returned moments later with an old, leather-bound grimoire, worn and marked with age.
"Here." Hope said.
"A grimoire?" Enna questioned.
"My grandmother's grimoire. It should have something in there about the binding curse. Just be careful, she did a lot of work with dark magic." Hope said. Enna nodded as she flipped through the pages of the grimoire. Then the front door opened, Hayley and Elijah were back from the store.
"Girls, our guests are going to be here any minute." Elijah informed them as he put down some grocery bags. Enna and Hope nodded as they picked up their things and put them in their rooms.
"I don't understand housewarmings. What's the purpose?" Enna asked as she her and Hope sat down on the kitchen island.
"I don't see the purpose either but someone's insisting." Elijah said pointedly.
"Come on it's fun! Plus we have to have people over sometime." Hayley said as she walked over to the group.
"Do we?" Hope asked.
