Enna sat in her spinny chair at her desk.

However for once, she wasn't spinning in it.

Instead, she was recalling various memories from over a millennium ago. Memories with her distant sister, known for her cruelty.

Enna had never been close with Inadu, they were polar opposites.

Enna despised violence, she was selfless, caring, always wanted to help others, and wished to all the gods that they take away her power and give it to others more worthy of it.

Inadu however, fed off of violence, was selfish, didn't care for anyone but herself, was the opposite of helpful, and did everything she could to get more power, no matter who she hurt.

Enna had tried multiple times throughout her childhood to have some sort of a relationship with her sister, who seemed to have rather done anything else.
Inadu actively avoided her sister, the weapon meant to bring about her death.

Though Enna had always known she was meant to kill Inadu, she had tried an alternative path, tried to find some good in her sister, but Inadu did nothing but push her away.

However young Enna was determined, even when Inadu wrapped a hand around her neck and told her to stay away, she did anything but. She wanted to save her sister, even though she had choked her which in all honesty, didn't hurt that bad.

Enna followed Inadu around like a puppy dog, trying to discourage violence, act as Inadu's conscience, though Inadu ignored her.

It wasn't until Inadu killed her uncle whom 8 year old Enna had adored, that Enna started leaving Inadu alone like she had asked. Enna still attempted to discourage her, but she was no longer a puppy dog.

The last straw though was when Inadu killed her best friend Catori when they were 14, who had done nothing wrong.

So Enna stayed away from her Inadu after that, obeyed her father, her husband, and sought comfort in her mother.

Enna was the opposite of her sister, however she was currently faced with the task of doing something Inadu had done in the past.

Preform a resurrection spell.

Inadu rarely preformed resurrection spells, she was more into sacrificing. However resurrection spells proved necessary at times.

Inadu often tracked down bloodlines to find the most powerful witches in the area, she often got that information from people who feared being sacrificed in turn.

Sometimes, she would kill someone, then later find out they knew the information that she needed, so she resurrected them. However since those people had been sacrificed already, they were reluctant to work with her.

Until she resurrected one of their loved ones that is. Inadu found people were more willing to give up information when forced to watch their loved ones get tortured.

Enna witnessed some of these resurrections firsthand, often attempting to help those resurrected flee before Inadu trapped them with a bone boundary spell.

Due to this, she knew how to resurrect someone into a trap so they'd have no chance to flee.

"What are you doing there?" Esther inquired pointing at Enna's grimoire as she peered over Enna's shoulder.

"Bone boundary spell." She mumbled as she scribbled on a different piece of paper the ingredients she would need.

"I see that. What I want to know is why?" Esther asked.
