Chapter 2
To Wonderland
Dear Diary-
So... You know how a few years ago Charlotte and I found the secret door with all the masks. Well the other day I went in to see what it looked like but as I pulled the arm of the statue and the masks that were originally blank, now had faces on them. I pulled one of the masks off to see who it was and the name on the back said LILIAN, Charlotte's sister. I looked at the others and they were all names of people who had power over Charlotte.
She seemed to become careless in this strange power she has acquired. She was starting to worry me. So to stop her I took down the remaining five blank masks and took them back to my house. I hid then away in the top shelf of my old closet. The next day Charlotte told me about the missing masks, I told her that I took them and hid them from her. She became enraged and began to throw things in my room. Breaking some of my most prized possessions. She left my room but not before saying that if I don't return the masks by tomorrow's sunset, she would have me taken away for stealing from the crown.
I couldn't handle being friends with a crazed princess. That's all for now. On a happier note, I will be turning 12 in two days! So Me and my parents are starting to plan for the big day. A certain someone may not show.
