To Wonderland

Dear Diary-
Today Me and mom were invited to the castle for a special dinner honoring all the seamstresses! So me and mom got as fancy as we could and went to the castle. When we got there me and mom had to sit at the end of the table because no one wanted to speak or even sot next to us...

So when I went to the bathroom, I lost my way and ended up finding a small key. I found a locked door and figured it would work. So I pushed open the door, after pushing past some clothing racks and a broken mirror I found a second door. Making sure no one was behind me I pushed the door open. I fell into a wonderland sort of place. I began to walk to the big castle in the distance. I made it inside this room full of red chairs, carpet, and curtains.

As I was pushing past the large wooden door- I heard my name being called. Trying to ignore it I began to explore the throne room. I was looking at the statue when I accidentally pulled the arm down, revealing a wall of blank masks. I pulled one off and was bout to put it on when someone grabbed my arm causing me to drop the mask, surprisingly it didn't break until Mom asked me what I was doing.

I told her I got lost, that was the truth, but then I told her that I closed my eyes and knew the way back. As I was telling her that the mask suddenly broke. The more I lied the more it broke. Mom sat beside me and we looked at the statue. She was telling me that I shouldn't be intruding on their privacy. As we were talking someone else showed up. I slowly glanced to see who it was and it was the princess. She looked quite frightened as she turned and ran out.

I hope we didn't scare her too much.
