Hayden's prov.
You ever have that strange feeling that something big is going to happen? The one were your stomach has knots in it and your hands can not seem to stop shaking? If you have not then your lucky. It's exhausting. You can't help but wander is it a good or bad? Is someone going to get hurt? Am I in trouble? Am I going to get laid? So many questions and no answers. That's why I'm here ,in my car, just sitting trying to prolong the inevitable. As a look at the hellhole that I'm about to walk into I give myself a mini pep talk.
No one is going to get hurt.
You might get laid.
Grow a pair.
I repeat these three sentences over and over. Finally gaining my balls back I step out of the car combing a hand through my hair. I look around the parking lot noticing that a group of girls from a year younger taking glances in my direction. They giggle extra loud trying to gain my attention.
God do they not know they sound like dying hyenas?
I make my way into the school completely ignoring the group of girls. I keep my eyes straight ahead as I walk down the hallway feeling everyone's eyes on me but I ignore. I'm not in the mood for their shit today. I open my locker and stuff my bag in it. Grabbing a notebook and pen I slam it shut only to find a face behind it. I groan mentally. Why don't people leave me the hell alone?
"What?" I snap glaring at the beautiful blond in front of me.
"H-hey Hayden. I just wanted to say how fun it was at that party-" I cut her off already knowing what she was doing. She was trying to make it seem like I slept with her when I didn't. I never even seen her at a party or anywhere for that matter. She was an attention seeker and if she wanted attention that's what she was about to get.
"I know what your going to say and no I don't want your number, to go out, or to have a second round the first one was enough," I say knowing I have the whole hallways attention, "And I have to say" I pause for affect "I'm not impressed." I hear gasps and roll my eyes. So dramatic. Without waiting for a comeback I walk to my first period. When I reach my class I go to take my usually seat in the back only to find it already occupied. Sitting in my seat is a girl I've never seen before. In her ears are headphones blocking out the rest of the world. As I watch her I can't help but stare. Not just because she is beautiful, because she is, but because she seems so at ease. I watched as she gazes out the window lightly drumming her fingers to the beat of the music. Suddenly as if she can sense me staring she slowly turns her head and looks at me through her eyelashes. The world seems to stop, she was beautiful. Dark brown hair, tan skin with hazel eyes. Gorgeous. I couldn't help but think. As I stare into her eyes I notice just how empty they are. Lifeless. I think feeling a shiver go down my back. Then as quickly as her eyes connected she turns her head to look back out the window and continues to drum her fingers. I snap out of my daze and start to make my way to where she is sitting. I lightly tap her on the shoulder and notice just how much muscle she has especially for a girl. Damn. She pulls out one of her headphones and snaps her head in my direction.
"What?" She questions rudely.
"Your in my seat," I state. Anger taking over my features. She looks at me as if I was the dumbest person she ever met.
"There is a whole class room full of seats pick a new one," she states putting her ear phone back in her ear. I feel my jaw drop but quickly close it not wanting to make a fool out of myself. Who the hell does she think she is? Furious I pull the ear phone out of her ear.
"What the fuck dude?" She snaps turning a icy glare on me.
"Get up," I snap when I see that she isn't moving I glare at her, "Now."
"Fucking hell dude. Fine have your gay ass seat. God damn," She mutters grabbing her bag and moving to the other back corner. I snicker knowing that if Jake shows up today he's going to have a fit that the new girl is in his seat. I sit in my seat and look over to see that her earphones are back in her ears and she is once again drumming her fingers. As I look at her I now know why I got that feeling this morning. Something is about to change in my life and I just know that she will be the cause of it. I just want to know if it is going to be a good change or a bad one...
