Ariyana's POV

The college fest was in full swing, and the air was filled with music, laughter, and the chaos of last-minute preparations. I was standing near the stage, trying to locate Pooja in the crowd, when I felt someone's presence behind me. I didn't need to turn around to know who it was.

"Ruhaan," I said without looking, smiling to myself. He had this uncanny ability to make his presence known without even speaking.

"Tum yahin ho? Tumhare bina toh sab kuch bekaar lag raha hai," he teased, stepping closer. His words were light, but there was an underlying sincerity in his tone.

I turned to face him, raising an eyebrow. "Yeh college fest hai, Ruhaan. Toh kuch bhi bekaar kaise ho sakta hai?"

"Tum nahi samjhogi," he said with a grin, nudging me gently. "Mujhe toh sab kuch bekaar lagta hai agar tum yahan nahi ho."

I felt my cheeks warm, and I quickly looked away, trying to hide the sudden flutter in my heart.

Third Person POV

As the night wore on, Ariyana and Ruhaan found themselves walking towards the dance area, a sea of students surrounding them. The DJ played a slow, romantic track, and the atmosphere shifted. Ariyana looked at Ruhaan, unsure whether to join the crowd or not.

"You know, we never dance," Ruhaan said, his voice low, almost teasing.

Ariyana looked up at him, surprised. "We're not in a movie, Ruhaan. Don't expect anything dramatic."

He chuckled softly. "Who said anything about drama? Just... dance with me."

Without waiting for a response, Ruhaan took her hand and led her onto the dance floor. They moved slowly, the world around them fading as they shared a quiet, intimate moment in the middle of the chaos.

As they swayed to the music, Ruhaan's voice broke the silence. "Kya tumhe kabhi lagta hai... yeh sab kuch sirf ek dosti se zyada hai?"

Ariyana's heart skipped a beat. She couldn't deny the tension between them, the growing feelings she'd tried to bury.

Her breath caught as she looked up at him. "Ruhaan..." she whispered, unsure of how to answer.

He looked down at her, his expression soft yet intense. "I'm not asking for anything, Ari. Just... think about it."

Ariyana swallowed, feeling the weight of his words. The music around them seemed to pause for a moment, and for the first time, she realized that what they shared wasn't just friendship.

Ariyana's POV

I pulled away slightly, my hand still in his, but I couldn't bring myself to let go. "I... I don't know, Ruhaan," I said quietly, unsure of the words, unsure of what I was feeling.

Ruhaan smiled, though it was tinged with uncertainty. "It's okay," he said softly, squeezing her hand. "No rush. But, Ari, I want you to know, I'll be here, no matter what."

The music picked up again, and they danced in comfortable silence, the weight of unspoken words hanging between them.

Third Person POV

As the night drew to a close, Ruhaan and Ariyana lingered in the glow of the lights, the connection between them stronger than ever. They didn't need words to understand the shift that had taken place. It wasn't just a friendship anymore—it was something deeper, something neither of them could easily define.

But for tonight, they didn't need answers. They just needed each other, in this moment.
