Chapter 5: Messing With the Wrong Earthlings

Without warning, Mamoru suddenly push Momo towards Okarun who was luckily able to caught her before she could collapse on the floor. And in that timeframe...something burst through the door. It was a giant hand that caught Mamoru in its grip. Mamoru didn't even have time to grunt when it suddenly pulled him out of the door and threw his body at high speed. His body hit a wall that leave a sizable dent which in turn made the teen cough out blood from the impact.

"Gahhh!"

Just then, a foot slammed into the same spot where his body was embedded, leaving Mamoru's body further dented into the wall. His body went limp after the foot released itself from his body.

Momo was too shocked at what happened while Okarun was quick to act and pull the girl to run back inside the house. However, when her brain finally caught up all Momo can do was yelled out.

"Mamoru!"

Now, we move to the present as Momo struggles to released herself from Okarun's grip as she tried to run outside to save her brother.

"Let go of me, Okarun! I have to help Mamoru!"

"Miss. Ayase! You can't! It's dangerous and you saw how that thing just grabbed onto Mr. Ayase and thrown him with ease!"

Momo wasn't letting any of his reasoning go through her head because the only thing on her mind was of that night. The burning building. The small body laying beside her cover in wounds. It almost overwhelmed her that Okarun suddenly felt himself be push away by an invisible force, causing him to collapse on the ground with a yelp.

"Miss. Ayase! Wait!"

Okarun tried to reached out but she already bolted out into the ruin front door. The first thing Momo noticed was how the outside was now grey in coloration like the whole shrine was enveloped in shadows that blot out the very light and second, she notices a fifty foot concrete wall just trapping them within the shrine thus making escaped near impossible and third, she finally spotted where her twin was. His body still embedded in the wall with his just being limp within it. She was about to run straight towards him but something slammed in front of her causing Momo to fall back less she be blown back by the impact. Okarun was already running towards her when she saw Momo jumping out of the way in time before something massive could crush her underneath. He quickly caught her in his grasp as the two fell on the ground with Okarun acting as a cushion to prevent her from getting hurt.

"Miss. Ayase, are you alright?!"

He then began helping both of them up as they both now look at what cause the attack only to find when the smoke clear...it was the same giant hand that grabbed onto Mamoru and thrown him away.

It was a massive, heavily built 3 meters tall creature with a build similar to a sumo wrestler, with a large belly and bulky, muscular arms and legs. Its body is grey in color and has numerous lines that run down its sides. Its face that has circular eyes with prominent pupils, a rectangular mouth and an angular nose. Its overall head is not unlike that of a nutcracker. Its head was also adorned by a stocky helmet. Most notably, it possesses a strange hood that surrounds its head. In terms of clothing, it only wore a patterned tsuna.

Before the two could say anything, the creature opens its jaw akin to a nutcracker. Then the creature spoke.

I FOUND YOU! YOU ARE BAD PEOPLE! YOU BROKE YOUR PROMISE!

It rose to full height and with one leg raised into the air like a sumo wrestler would do, it slammed it down causing the very earth to shake as Momo and Okarun tried desperately to keep themselves from falling back to the ground.
