Chapter 6: Revelation From the Past

Previously,

Mamoru pull out his bat from somewhere follow suit by Okarun who look ready to tear something apart.

"This situation isn't really ideal, yo. But I'm ready to beat this alien in its place, Mamoru."

Momo meanwhile was focusing to keep the curse at bay as she looks at the two people in front of her ready to fight for their very survival.

"Don't die you two. That's an order."

She said without any room for argument. Both boys nodded and with that, they both charge together as the alien answer in turn with its own charge.

Okarun blitz forward, and within second the sumo alien had lost feeling on its right arm. It didn't have time to processed what had just happened as he felt something bash him from the jaw to revealed it was Mamoru who had jump upward and used his bat to hit the alien on his lower jaw. The alien seemingly about to collapse however spun its massive body and used that momentum to kick Mamoru who blocked with his bat just in time but the impact sends him flying. However, Okarun was quick to caught him mid flight and they both landed safely on the ground.

"Thanks."

Mamoru said but he noticed Okarun was beginning to sweat from exhaustion. He finally realized that Okarun was almost reaching his limit.

"This is bad, Mamoru. I'm not sure how much more I can go into full throttle, yo. This human body wasn't meant to handle this much strain."

In that moment, Okarun changed back to his human form, exhausted. Momo walked up to the two while still holding out her arm to keep the curse under control but even she's beginning to feel drain from using her power especially after that skirmish with the Flatwood Monster.

"There's got to be a way for us to beat that thing. Other than the talisman method, what else do we have?"

Momo tried asking. Soon enough the alien began to position itself to charge at the trio and Mamoru began to think.

'We can't beat it through brute force. It's expecting us to delay us until this whole mist worn us down. Takakura might be able to delay it one more time if we aim for the leg but that would do little to stop it for long.'

He then looks at the Torii gate and immediately thought of something. It was risky but worth a shot.

"Sis, I'm going to need you to trust me on this. Come on.

Without much prompting, the cursed teen and psychic user follow the Spirit Medium and noticing the trio were heading towards the gate, the alien shifted its attention towards them.

YOU BAD PEOPLE WILL PAY WITH YOUR VERY BANANAS!!

They both now stood near the gate as they now see the giant bull rushed towards them.

"Takakura, when I give the signal, transform and aim for the leg. Sis, be ready to move when that happened."

Beginning to see what Mamoru had in mind, Momo nodded. Okarun didn't know what they had in mind but he was going to trust that this planned Mamoru hatch up would work. Before long, the alien was nearly upon them.

GOT YOU!!!

"Now, Takakura!"

"Alright!"

Okarun change immediately for one last charge and within instant, his body blitz through the leg of the Flatwood monster which cause him to lose his balance. Both Mamoru and Momo jump out of the way before they could be hit by the giant alien. The Flatwood slammed head first into the wall causing a massive boom that shook the entire area but it was done. Mamoru now had his opening.
