_MALCOLM'S POV_

Who would've guessed that I, the one person who built something small into a large and prospering empire through nights of headaches and bloodshed, would be waiting in line for a cone of ice-cream.

Mia forced me..or did not force me to wait in line with a group of kids and some adults just for a cone of junk food.

It was late at night after a long day of Mia forcing me to do things which I had never done in my life.

"What!" Mia exclaimed every time I told her I had never went shopping myself, I had never been to the cinema nor have I ever been to a park. I mean why would I go out of my way to get things myself when I could easily have whatever I want at the comfort and leisure of my home and time, just one call and I have whatever I need. To cut the long story short, the car was already full of shopping bags which in itself is filled with unnecessary things that Mia decided to buy.

Personally, I think of movies as a waste of time. "Who watches other people pretend to be something or someone they are not?" I asked Mia when she asked to go to a cinema. "Everyone!" She exclaimed as a reply to my question. Eventually, I had to agree because she had this pouty, angry but adorable face when I said no. Upsetting Mia was like drilling a hole in my chest so I had to agree and I ended up in a dimly lit room with nothing but people making out in the middle of nowhere just because some guy and a girl confessed their love to each other and Mia shedding her so called tears of joy for something that isn't even real.

And then, there comes the park, the worst part of my day today. There were children everywhere and it was destroying the last sense of sanity left till a dog pooped on my shoes. I lost it right there, I almost kicked the dog to it's death but it wagged it's tail and ran off like it was mocking me while Mia kept laughing like it was some show. Her smile made me smile too but I was definitely going to put a few bullets into the head of that dog if I ever come across it again. Have I mentioned that I hate dogs because animals are the worst creation on earth.

And now, it's almost 8pm and I have no idea where Mia ran off after squeezing me into the trail. I was next in line to order or what am I supposed to do when it's a roadside counter.

I received the large cone containing iced ice cream, of course it's supposed to be iced. I stretched out my card and the look the man behind the counter gave me was so belittling if Mia wasn't nearby, I would snap his neck in two and feed it to the dogs.

A young lady behind me taps my arm, a provocative smile plastered on her face. "He doesn't accept cards. A cone is six dollars." I didn't think a woman's voice could be so tiny and it disgusts me. It's women who pretend that I despise the most.

After paying the vendor and giving him a death stare, I move out of line, my eyes straying to find Mia but she was nowhere to be seen. And then, I heard a boom behind me. I turned to face her and she fakes a disappointed expression. Maybe because she tried to boom scare me which did not affect me at all. "Is there anything that scares you?" She asked, taking the cone of ice-cream from me.

"Why should there be anything in the world that scares me?" I asked in return as we strolled down the lane leading to the parking lot.

"There must be something, maybe you just don't know it yet." She said, taking a lick from the cone before stretching it out to me. "Try it," she pushed the cone further towards my lips.

"I can't believe you've never had ice-cream." She stopped insisting on me trying the unhealthy piece of food which she said is refreshing and not unhealthy.

"I've tried it once before." I said and Mia stopped in track. She seems so excited just because I said I have had Ice cream before.

"So, why did you stop?"
