I woke up shivering. I rolled over and checked the time on my phone. Almost two am. I don't want to go home but it's cold.

I've slept under the bleachers before but tonight it's to cold even in my long sleeves. Its usually chilly in October.

I grabbed my bookbag and started walking home. I lit a cigarette and walked away from the school.

I wish I had somewhere else to stay. I blew out a cloud of smoke and walked alone.

I wandered what it was like at Cody's. He said him mother would worry if he came home late. My mom used to be like that when I was younger but now she's always high and wouldn't care if I was dead in a ditch. Dad's always drunk so he wouldn't care either. The only one thay cares is Wesley my older brother. But once he finishes high school he's going to leave. I will too.

I walked up to the house and walked in quietly. My nerves calmed when I realized everyone was a sleep. I shook my head at the pathetic old nasty house and walked to me and Wesley's room.

"Where have you been? I was so worried" he said and hugged me. "I fell asleep underneath the bleachers at the school" I said and sat on my bed. "Again?" he asked. "Yeah" I said and laid under my blankets. "Next time you do that can you at least text me to I know your okay?" he asked and I sighed. "Okay" I said and closed my eyes. "Good night jen" he said. "Good night Wes" I said and fell asleep.
