"I'll see you after school" Wesley said. "Actually... I'm going to dinner with Cody and his parents tonight" I said and he smiled at me. "Really?" he asked excited. "Yeah" I said and blushed. "Text me later" he said and hugged me.
Me and Cody met at our usual spot then we walked to his car. "Should I take out my piercings?" I asked him. "No you don't have to" he said and started his car. "Do I have to much make up on?" I asked him. "No you look beautiful" he said and I blushed.
"Are you nervous?" He asked with a little laugh. "A little" I confessed. "Why?" he asked and I shrugged. "I'm not sure" I said and laughed a little.
We pulled up to his house. "My dad will be home soon" he said and opened the front door for me. "Okay" I said and stepped inside. It is perfectly clean. Nothing like my house.
"Mom we're home!" Cody yelled to his mom. "Okay!" she yelled back. "Do you want something to eat or a drink?" he asked. "Do you have lemonade?" I asked him and he nodded. He poured me a glass and handed it to me. "Thank you" I said and he smiled.
"You must me Jenna!" his mom said and I turned to face her. "Hi" I said nervously. "It's nice to finally meet you" she said and hugged me and I hugged her back. She's so sweet.
"You too" I said and she smiled.
"Ooh I like her" she said and Cody blushed and she laughed. "Your eyes are stunning" she said and I blushed. "I get them from my grandma" I said.
"Do you want to go in my room or something" he asked and I nodded.
We went in his room and we sat on his bed. "Do you want to watch Netflix?" he asked and I nodded.
We sat next to each other on his bed with the laptop in front of us. "Let's watch this" I said and clicked on America Horror Story.
"Okay" he said and pressed play.
Half way through the first episode I was already obsessed. I didn't realise I was laying my head on his chest until he put his arm around me. I snuggled into him and sighed deeply.
"Cody, Jenna are you guys ready?" Cody's dad yelled from down stairs. "You ready?" Cody asked me and I nodded.
We sat quietly in the car and I stared out the window. We pulled up to a fancy restaurant. We got out of the car and walked into the restaurant. Everyone was dressed fancy and I stood there in a black Fall Out Boy shirt and jeans and combat boots. Cody wasn't dressed fancy either but at least he's not in practically all black. "Cody I feel awkward" I whispered to him. "Me too" he whispered.
"Mom you didn't tell me it was a fancy restaurant" Cody whispered to his mom. "Sorry hunny" she said and smiled apologetically. Thankfully the wighter sat us in the corner and I sat on the inside of the booth.
"How are your grades?" His dad asked me. "Um I'm not sure. I haven't seen my report card" I said. I wonder where it is? I hope dad didn't grab it.
After dinner we went back to Cody's house. "Do you want a ride home?" he asked me. "Yeah sure" I said and we got in the car. "I had fun at dinner. Your parents are so sweet" I said and he smiled.
We pulled up in front of my house. I reached for the door handle but Cody put his hand on my arm. "Jenna can I ask you something?" he asked me and scratched the back if his neck nervously. "Yeah?" I asked. "Um... Would you like to be.. My girlfriend?" he asked nervously. "I would love too" I said and kissed his cheek.
"See you Monday" I said and opened the car door. "Yeah. See you Monday" he said and we smiled at each other.
"Bye Cody" I said. "Bye Jenna" he said and I waved to him and walked inside.
I closed the door behind me and sighed happily.
"Jenna! Where have you been?!" Dad yelled and my heart dropped. "I was with a friend" I said and started walking to my room. "Care to explain why you are failing school?" he asked and held the paper our for me. I looked at it and my mouth dropped. Every subject I'm failing. "I'm sorry" I said. "Sorry isn't going to cut it!" he screamed. "What do you expect me to do?! No one ever helps me if I need it!" I yelled back and Wesley walked out of our room. "Dad leave her alone!" Wesley yelled and he swore to himself and walked away.
"Come on" he said and we went in our room. "How was your date?" he asked me and sat on his bed. "It wasn't a date. But it was really fun" I said and he smiled.
"Wesley I don't want you to leave" I said and he sat next to me. "Jenna" he sighed and I leaned against him. "Wes you and Cody are all I have" I said and he pulled me into a hug. "I want you to leave and be happy I just... I don't know" I said and he sighed. "I know" he said and I hugged him.
"Did you get accepted into collage?" I asked him and he smiled. "You did?!" I asked and he nodded. "Wes! That's awesome!" I said and hugged him.
He's going to collage to become a cop. I think it's a great idea.
"I have awesome news too" I said and smiled to myself. "Tell me" he said and I laughed. "Go on! I wanna know" he said and pushed me lightly. "Me and Cody... Are dating" I said and he laughed. "What's so funny?" I asked and pushed him. "I knew you guys where going to start dating" he said and shook his head.
"I'm happy for you" he said and put his arms around my shoulders. "Thanks wes" I said and laughed.
"Its getting late let's go to sleep" he said and laid in his bed. I laid in my bed under the blankets.
"Good night Jen" he said. "Good night Wes" I said and closed my eyes.
