"Cody! Your going to be late for school for school!" mom yelled. I groaned and rolled out of bed. I got dressed and styled my hair.
I said bye to my mom and dad and got in my car and drove to school.
At the end of the day I have a free period. I was trying to decided if I wanted to go to the school library and read or if I wanted to see if Jenna was sitting underneath the bleachers when someone pushed me into the locker.
"Hey fag" Tyler said and pinned me against the locker. "Leave me alone" I said and tried to push him off of me. "C'mon Cody you know your not stronger then me" he said and pushed me again.
"I don't understand how Cody is the fag when your the one with the gay porn stash on your phone" I heard Jenna say a few feet away. "I don't know what your talking about" he said and let me go. She walked forwards and held the phone out for him to see.
"How did you get my phone?" he asked and she smirked and looked behind her shoulder. I looked past her to see what must be Tyler's locker door open with a huge dent in it near the bottom. She must have kicked it open. She tossed him his phone and he caught it. "Go" she said and he scurried away.
"Thanks" I said and she shrugged. "Anytime" she said and smiled. "Are you free this period too?" I asked her. "No I have gym but I skip it" she shrugged. "But your grades" I said and she laughed. "I'm going to fail anyways" she said and we started walking down the hall to the bleachers. "Don't say that" I said and she shrugged again. "Why I'm not smart" she said and looked down. "I can help you" I said and she smiled. "Thanks but no thanks" she said and I laughed a little.
We turned a corner and her hand slid over the fire alarm. She glanced at me and smiled. She raised her eyebrows seeing if I would dare her to pull it. I laughed and we kept walking.
"Hey Jenna!" a boy yelled and jogged down the hall. "Hey Wesley" she said and they smiled at each other. "This is my friend Cody. This is my brother Wesley" she introduced us. "Nice to meet you" I said to him. "Yeah you too" he said with a smile. He kinda looks like her except he has brown hair and no tattoos or piercings. Altogether he looks friendlier.
"Don't you have gym right now?" he asked her and she rolled her eyes. "I told you to quit smoking. Gym would be so much easier" he said and shook his head. "Whatever I'll see you at home" she said and we turned around. "Don't stay out all night. It makes me worry" he said and her shoulders dropped. "I'll be home after school" she promised. "Okay see you at home" Wesley said back.
"When did you go home last night?" I asked her. "Around two" she said and ducked under the bleachers. "Where did you stay?" I asked her. "Right here" she said and sat on the ground. "Really?" I asked her and she nodded. "Why?" I asked her. "Because I didn't want to go home okay? Do you want to know more about my personal life? Maybe where I was born or maybe my biggest fears?" she snapped. "I'm sorry" I mumbled and took a step back. "No I'm sorry I just don't like talking about home and all that shit" she said and looked down and I sat next to her.
"If you ever need somewhere to stay you can always come to my place" I offered and she smiled. "Thanks but I'm not the type you'd want to take home to mama" I said and he chuckled.
We talked for a bit but the conversation died down. "How many peircings do you have?" I asked her. "Um in not sure how many buy I have a few on each ear, my nose, my eyebrow and..." she trailed off and pointed down. "No way!" I said and my eyes widened. She laughed and nodded her head. "You mean you have your vagina pierced" I said in disbelief. "Yep" she said and my mouth dropped. "Did it hurt?" I asked and she nodded. "Oh hell yeah" she said and shook her head.
"Have you ever had sex?" she asked me and I blushed. "No" I mumbled. "I know" she whispered and I looked out at her. "How?" I asked and she laughed. "Because you said vagina and not pussy" she said and I laughed.
"Have you ever had a girlfriend?" she asked and I looked down at the grass. I don't want to say no What sophomore has never had a girlfriend? Only me. "It's okay Cody. I've never had a true boyfriend" she said and I looked up at her. "But you dated that kid in middle school" i said. "Yeah but we never went in dates or anything" she said. "Have you had sex?" I asked her and she nodded.
The bell rang and we both stood to leave. "Do you need a ride home?" I asked her. "No I'm going to walk with Wesley. But Thank you" she said and I nodded. "See you tomorrow?" she asked and I nodded. "See you tomorrow" I said and we waved to each other and went our separate ways.
