10. Wedding Venue

Harley's POV

"So this room is the main area, as you can see plenty of tables and chairs for all your guests and a huge area for dancing seeing as that's what you requested. A bar stocked is over there and there is full access to outside at all times" the lady said walking us through the venue.

Colby was pushing Foxley as I had my wedding planner folded in my arms and my mum beside me.

"And what times are available for arrival?" My mother asked as I looked around the beautiful room.

It was currently set out with pink and white, not the colours I'd go for but it's just for the viewing show. The room was huge, massive chandelier in the middle as tables and chairs lined the dance floor. A bar sat to the side with many drink options and wide open doors to lead to the outside.

"So your wedding is booked for 12pm which roughly takes around 30 minutes, so after photos in the courtyard the doors will be open for guests from 12.30pm" she smiled as I nodded, jotting everything down in my book.

"And everyone gets arrival drinks?" Colby asked this time, pushing Foxley around the room to check it out.

"Of course, champagne is included in the price" she smiled as I smiled back.

So far we had looked at two venues and this was my favourite, the wedding would be held in the outside garden. It was beautiful, flowers lined the outside along with the amazing background of a small waterfall and lake, which included a bridge over the water for Colby and I to have a photo.

"Are you fully b-booked?" I asked hoping she'd say no.

"We only have limited numbers for this summer, but next summer we have plenty of space" she smiled as I turned to Colby.

I leaned into him and whispered, "so far this is m-my favourite" I smiled as he chuckled.

"Same here" he whispered kissing my lips gently.

We finished our tour, letting the lady know we'd think about our options and get back to her as soon as possible. Then we went to our last viewing of the week, it was beautiful and amazing but I had my heart set on the third one we looked at.

As we sat at the table eating dinner, my mind was buzzing at the thought of getting married soon. I hardly ate my food I was too focused on the beautiful venue.

"Harley, you need to eat" my mother scolded me as I looked up at her.

"Sorry mum" I chuckled lifting my fork and eating my food.

" I can see your very excited for this, any venue you had in mind?" My father asked looking at me.

"Yes, the t-third one was my favourite" I smiled thinking back to it.

"What about you Colby?" Dad asked.

"Well I already knew Harley had her heart set on a particular venue," Colby grabbed my hand, "so I went ahead and booked it"

My mouth swallowed the food I was eating and gave him a shocked expression. He had a smile on his face the whole time.

"What?" I questioned surprised.

He chuckled, "I could see how in love you were, plus I made a little deal with the lady" he said smugly.

My mother chuckled, "what deal was that?"

"I said that if she was able to get us booked in for this summer with all the extras we'd be back next year for the after party to Foxleys christening" Colby smiled at me as tears started to leak from my eyes.
