"I opened my eyes and saw my house with my family standing in the doorway smiling at me. My dad held his arms out as if welcoming me home. Tears formed in my eyes as I ran towards them. When I reached them I hugged them so tightly, as if holding them tightly meant they could never leave. I looked up into my dad's eyes and saw him silently crying. That's when the tears started pouring down my face uncontrollably. Summer took my hand and led me into the house, where the familiar sent of apple pie filled my nostrils. I sat down on the couch and Summer sat beside me with her arm wrapped around mine. Suddenly she whispered in my ear 'look' and pointed towards the kitchen where I saw my boyfriend leaning against the wall studying my face for the reaction I would give him. I let out a sob and ran to him, crashing my head into firm chest. He laughed and wrapped his arms firmly around my small body. "I missed you" I whispered as he kissed the top of my head. "I missed you too, babe" He whispered, still not letting go of me.
This was amazing. I had my life back, but then I stopped to think, 'how did I get here?' When all of a sudden, everything started to fade away. My sister waved goodbye as everyone and everything disappeared, and I was left in total darkness. All alone, just like how it was before. And then I woke up and realized once again that I was living my worst nightmare.
