Smile -Kuroko x Kagami-

~Kuroko no Basket

Kuroko always stood by Kagami's side. Being his shadow, and also being his boyfriend for 4 years.

Going throw high school together, even being on the same team and doing their favorite sport,

Basketball.

Kagami's life long dream was to be top NBA player. He practiced so hard, never gave up when it seemed like their was no way around. Hard work and determination. And that's what got him to be where he is.

Kuroko couldn't be any happier. Or maybe, he could be happier. Due to all the fame, interviews, and games. He hasn't seen Kagami in over a month. Maybe only spoken to him twice in that month. But that was all.

He loved Kagami. With all his heart. He was so proud and still am, to see a big smile on his boyfriend's face as he finally made it to the top.

Kuroko just wishes he can smile too.

His smile only shows when Kagami is around. Being that he is Kuroko only happiness. Only light.

Their 5 year anniversary is coming up, and he was actually quite happy. Maybe he'll finally see him again. And he can finally smile.

He decided to give Kagami a call, all he wanted was to hear his voice, and to see if he'll be coming home.

He quickly dials his number and puts the phone to his ear.

It rings a couple times and a low voice picks up

"Hello? Kuroko?"

Kuroko stands there in shock for a bit. He didn't think Kagami would answer the first call. But he's glad he did.

"Hello Kagami-kun" he said with a slight smile.

They talked for maybe 15 minutes, then Kuroko could hear the tiredness his is boyfriend's voice.

"Kagami-kun, I was wondering if youll be coming home. Maybe before Saturday?"

He hears a groan, "Kuroko, im sorry I cant make it home. I have another interview, and theyre going to make a toy that looks like me!!"

Silence.

Kuroko doesn't know what to feel. Hurt? Proud? He wont be here for their anniversary.

"Hello, are you there Kuroko?" That brought him back.

"Yeah, I am." he speaks soft. With a hint of hurt in his voice.

"Whats wrong? Did I do something wrong?"

"No you didn't, sorry for bothering you. You need to sleep. Goodnight."

"Wait! Kuro-"

He hangs up. Letting a few tears fall from his eyes. He smiles a sad smile.

"A smile only exist for you Kagami-kun. No matter what happens, ill always be here. Even if you forget. And even if it kills me."

I know it wasn't to good. Sorry. I suck at tragedies, but I love reading them T^T Ill get better promise guys. Plus its almost 4 in the morning sososososo. Enjoy!
