Chapter one: Birthday

It was beautiful morning the sun shining through my curtains, I slowly wake up my eyes squinting because of the light just remembered it was my birthday and I am turning 18 and remembering that I have lived in this house for ten years, before I left I was so miserable that I am leaving every thing behind me but when I moved I don't know why I was doubting about this place we live near the beach and I almost forgot I new this girl forever and she lives here in this town, anyway I walked down the stairs yawning and rubbing my eyes when ouch my face landed on the ground I staggered up onto my two feet, I saw a glance of a note so I walk over to the kitchen top to my surprise it was my parents it said " Morning  my darling we just went for a swim we will be back love mum and dad" I was kind of disappointed because they used to hid and then pop out and say " Happy Birthday Lucie" but they didn't this time, the was a loud knock on the door and then rushing in came my best friend Emily and she yelled " Happy Birthday Lucie" I was glad to see her I gave her a hug , I've know Emily my hole life but then she moved here but we are back together. We ran up stairs we jumped on to my water bed, we stared talking about birthday then Emily gave me her present it was a picture of us and a star fish necklace with crystal in it, I thanked her and told her " this is the best present ever" we stared walking to my balcony, the wind breezing through our hair .
