"You told Daniel?" I asked Solange over the phone, walking out of the complex.

"I did."

"What did he say?" I got into my car, starting it up.

I heard her sigh on the other side of the phone and I just prayed that this little boy didn't some how make my sister feel worse about this situation.

A knock on my passenger window caught my attention. I unlocked the door, seeing Kelly on the other side.

I put my finger to my lips, telling her to be quiet as she got in the car. "He wasn't upset or anything, but you could tell it wasn't something he wanted to hear."

'She told him?" Kelly asked me, whispering and I nodded.

"He started talking about football and how he doesn't know what he's going to do for school. But then he talked to his parents and came back to me saying that none of that was important right now and he'll think about all of that when we get there."

"Period, because I thought I was going to have to beat a minor's ass." Kelly blurted, leaning back against the passenger seat. "I don't play about you." She said making Solo laugh.

"Or you." She pointed to me. "So when are we jumping Lyndall?"

"Like what the fuck did he think this was..." That was the last thing I heard before she went on a rant, with Solange egging her on.

"Ok, enough." I laughed.

"Your laughing, but I'm serious." Kelly exhaled.

"I know, but I'm fine now. I just needed a minute. It was bound to happen, right? I mean, you were trying to tell me he was sneaking around anyways. I just wasn't listening." I tapped against the steering wheel with my nails. "To wrapped up in the high school sweetheart fantasy."

"Bitch, Y/n must have talked some shit into you." Kelly deadpanned. "Because the Beyoncé I know would have been ready to bust that nigga's windows out."

"Who is Y/n?" Solange asked.

"Her soon to be new boo. That's way she not as mad as she would be right now. She got Y/n on her mind." And that was enough to get Solange going.

"Ouhhh." I heard her tease.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not interested in Y/n." I said, shrugging as I pulled out of the parking spot.

"You definitely are, and that's okay to admit." I scoffed at her response with a small smile of my face.

"She's not my type." I lied, making Kelly fall out in her seat.

"She?" I heard Solange teasing in the background.

"She literally is! You like hood niggas as much as you don't want to admit it and Y/n is nothing but that. Plus, that damn accent. Bitch, if it can get me, it definitely can get you." She tried to prove her point.

"And also, y'all have hung out more than we have since this semester started." I frowned at her statement.

"That's not true." I laughed.

She shook her head in a 'no' fashion. "It is!" She exclaimed. "You talk to her on the phone, y'all walk to classes together..." I cut her off.

"That's because we damn near have the same schedule!" I argued, keeping my eyes on the road.
