"Who are you people? And why are you looking for Rachel?" Dick crossed his arms, standing behind the married couple bound to their chairs in the room. Meanwhile, Rachel and Gar seemed to be conducting their own line of questioning with the two kids in the other room.
"Oh, dear, you're right. How rude of us not to introduce ourselves," the mother responded in a saccharine tone.
"I'm Dad. This is Mom," the man said with a smile. "Pleased to meet you, Detective Grayson." He turned to Kory, nodding. "Miss Montrose, wonderful realtor you are. How's business?"
"Realtor?" Kory leaned down and muttered under her breath.
"And what a fine bird suit you've got. That was quite unexpected," the woman added, grinning. "It's a shame we didn't get to see yours, Miss Little Red."
"Quite," the father agreed.
"I asked her a question," Dick said, stepping closer.
"Yes, you did. My apologies. All the fighting," she sighed, her smile unwavering. "We're here to deliver her, of course."
"To who?"
"Our employer, dear."
"Who's your employer?" Dick crouched in front of them.
"I can't answer that," the woman said, her expression briefly hardening before shifting into a sinister grin. "Loose lips sink ships."
"That's true. Nobody likes a tattletale," the father chimed in.
"Alright, my turn." Kory stepped forward, frustrated by the games, and pulled the zip tie up toward the man's neck.
"Wait, wait, wait. Come here." Dick quickly stopped her, pulling her aside.
Jules took a step forward. "Where did you get the Moraxine?"
The mother let out a soft giggle. "Our lovely employer provided it."
"Did they say anything about what it is or does? How did you know to use it on me?"
The father shook his head, his grin widening. "He only said you were a major threat-a hindrance, if you will."
"How much do they have left?"
The couple exchanged amused glances before erupting into chilling laughter.
"Help yourselves. Give us the girl, and we'll be on our way, lickety-split," the mother chuckled, as though making a polite dinner invitation.
"I'm not asking again," Jules warned, raising her hand. The father suddenly gasped for air as his throat constricted.
"Jules." Dick grabbed her hand, stopping her. "Let's check their car. See what we find." His tone held a clear warning as he pulled her out of the room.
"What a lovely couple..."
"Oh, shut up," Kory snapped, glaring at them.

In the car, Jules groaned, wiping her hands on her jeans. "There's barely anything here. I feel like incinerating this would be faster."
"No need." Dick stepped forward with a device in hand, a small light blinking. "It's a burner phone."
As he turned it on, he scrolled through the call history and found a familiar name: Dr. Adamson.
"Sound familiar?" Jules raised an eyebrow.
Before he could respond, they heard a door shut. Both relaxed slightly when they saw Rachel walking over to them.
"So you're Robin, huh? That's your big secret?"
