"Man, dude looks dead."
"Nah... I can still hear his pulse." Jules cracked her knuckles and walked in front of the two men dragging Adamson's body across the concrete parking lot floor.
"Mind giving us a hand, Red?" Dick asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
She paused and turned around, rolling her eyes before muttering a spell that made the man's body float up behind her.
"Red? Cool nickname you guys give each other," the other Robin said, his voice overly energetic for two adults who just had the weirdest few days of their lives. "Jason, by the way. You're way hotter in person than Laurine described. She told you about me, right? You have some of my stuff."
"Wait, what?"
"Oh, great, she lied to me."
"This is awesome! Robin and Robin in action." The boy cheered, glancing at Dick with pure joy, but he barely shared the sentiment. "Hey, man, really, it's an honor to meet you," he said, holding out his fist, causing Jules to choke on her own spit. The man begrudgingly fist-bumped him before swiftly opening the trunk and letting Jules drop the body in roughly.
"Yep. I always wondered what this moment would be like. Never thought that when it happened, I'd be saving your life."
"So, there's a new Robin, huh?" Dick tried to lighten the mood.
"Yours truly. In the flesh." Jason winked at Jules.
"Does Batman know you're here?"
"Of course. Bruce knows how bad I've wanted to meet you." Jason grinned widely. "Pick your brain, catch a couple pointers. He's all 'Go for it, bro.'"
"Didn't know Batman says 'bro.'" Jules stifled a laugh as she patted Dick on the chest while walking past him to get into the passenger seat.
"Hey, let me grab my clothes. I'll be right back," Jason said before sprinting away.
Dick gave her a pointed glare. "Sorry, I didn't want to tell you too soon... you'd freak out... and Laura told me the little rascal doesn't know me, so... guess we were both deceived." Jules shrugged lightly and climbed into the vehicle.

"Can't believe it. Here we are, together in the same car. This is so cool."
"Yeah. Real cool." Dick kept his tone monotone as he kept his eyes trained on the road. He paused for a second before asking, "So, how long have you and Bruce been... uh... together?"
"Almost a year," Jason said nonchalantly.
That immediately caught Dick off guard, raising his eyebrows in slight disbelief. "A year?"
"That's twelve months, almost..." she muttered, her voice dripping with sarcasm, which caused Dick to send her a subtle glare.
He glanced back at the boy with a chuckle. "Wow. Okay. Didn't waste any time. So, how did you and he...?"
"I was out boosting cars," Jason let out a short laugh. "Guess I chose the wrong one. Or the right one?"
"You tried to steal the Batmobile?"
"He just leaves that multi-million-dollar car outside?" she raised an eyebrow and glanced at him.
"Nah, man... Just the hubcaps," Jason responded.
"And just like that, he took you in?"
"Guess he saw potential."
She frowned when she saw his jaw tense up, feeling a bit guilty for not emotionally preparing him for this moment.
