As you and Blitz walk your way a bit down the street, you come across a restaurant, looking up at the sign it reads (Pick a food and name).

You looked at Blitz and gave a weak smile, a part of you feeling excited about getting to go home after this but a sinking feeling set in your stomach as you glanced back up at the restaurants' sign.

You let out a small and slightly disappointed sigh.

"Well...Here we are Iguess....Our last stop for forever..."

You skid your feet against the ground, placing your hands behind your back, shyly looking away now.

Blitz caught onto this and plastered on a smile, he draped his arm over your shoulder.

"Hey! It's not that bad!-

Blitz then gestured around to the other restaurants nearby.

"We picked the least shadiest looking one at least."

He joked and you chuckled.

You looked around the environment and realized Blitz was probably right...He did know more about how things worked around here than you did...

You felt a small frown come on.

"Is this place really as bad as it sounds though? I mean I've been here and nothing bad has happened yet-

Blitz opened his mouth to say something but you put a hand up, signaling for him to shush.

"And don't say it's because you've been protecting me."

You said giving a small playful and knowing smile.

Blitz smiled and felt his face heat up a bit.

The two of you stared into each others eyes for a moment before you'd decided to enter the restaurant.

"Ya know..."

Blitz spoke up, his voice a bit low though.

"It kind of sounds like you're making an excuse to stay..."

Blitz looked at you, his eyes sparkling with something...Hope?

You quickly averted his gaze and pointed to a table.

"Here! This one! I like this one!."

As Blitz scooted into his seat, he looked at you from across the booth and chuckled.

"You like this one huh? This table in particular? Is it the color or-

You stretched your arm across the table and lightly tapped a hand against his shoulder.

"Shut up." You said in a teasing tone.

This only made Blitz laugh harder, you felt your face heating up.

Blitz's laughter died down some, his eyes held that sparkle again.
He rested his chin on the top of his hand.

"Ya know you look kinda cute when you're blushing."

Your eyes widened and you felt your blush deepen some.

"I-Y-We-Whatever."

You stuttered, then glanced up at him after a moment.

"Thank you, Blitz..Um...You look...You don't look so bad yourself so..."

Blitz let out a low chuckle, he reached his hand out to place it on top of yours.

"Thanks. A compliment is a compliment even if it's as complicated as that one. Lucky for you I like complicated."

You gave him a playful look.

"Oh, I'm the complicated one now? Face is Blitz, we're both a hot mess."

Blitz busted out laughing.

"Ya know, I think you're right!-

His laughter died down some and his expression softened some.
"Ya know...I think I'm really gonna miss you when you're gone...."

He said.

You glanced up at him, your eyes flickering from your drink to Blitz.

"Yeah...Me too Blitz...Me too..."

The two of you remained there sitting in an awkward silence for a bit after that-

Both your thoughts running wild with a million possibilities.

But what you didn't know...Was that somebody had heard the entire conversation going down and they now knew your secret, Blitz's secret to his access to the human world and he knew about the deal that Stolas had made with the two of you...And things were about to get crazy....
