"Wake up, sis," you heard your brother's nudging but you felt so tired... Your eyelids were heavier than iron and your limbs just didn't want to move despite you trying to raise your arms to cover your ears with a pillow.

They got so used to being stuck in a motionless stasis over the past... hours, days, weeks? You weren't sure. Your body literally shut you down in a desperate attempt to save your life and even though, technically you were unconscious in the process, you had been feeling every single cell in your body desperately working to fix what you couldn't.

You felt your powers take matters into their own hands - if you could even say that - because your conscious mind believed that you were unable to fight against this corrupting entity inside you...

You felt as if you were put in a cocoon, letting you finally rest while your bones mended and your system built a wall around whatever - or rather whoever you let into yourself when you tried to heal the tree and now breaking out of that cocoon felt so hard... You liked the soothing, emotionless peace...

"Come on, you promised you'd help me," your brother went on and you frowned in your shame. Yes, you promised and yet you were unable to turn him back to who he used to be... And at that moment you felt too numb to ever try again... You shouldn't have promised anything that you weren't sure of. That's a cruel thing to do...

"I can't," you groaned your reply weakly. Your voice was dry and hoarse as if you hadn't spoken for days... You swallowed and wanted to turn to your side but then your brother went on, a little bit more impatient this time.

"Okay brat, you're making me do this..." you heard him grab his pillow and you knew he was going to throw it to your head. Just the usual way he woke you up when you didn't want to.

"Wait...!" You immediately raised your hands to protect your head and sat up like a spring - only to find yourself in... Ekko's room?

You blinked as it took a while for you to recognize the place. You were expecting to be in your old home for some reason...

But you were sitting on the young firelight's bed, completely alone. The afternoon lights painted stretching shadows across the walls and floor and you furrowed your brows in your confusion as you looked around yourself.

"Neo?" You called your brother's name unsure, and your weak voice sounded so loud in the silence. You felt a painful itch behind your eyes, that hurt more the more you tried to remember your... dream? Were you just dreaming?

His voice still kept ringing in your ears, though you were starting to forget the words. He sounded so... normal...

You pinched the bridge of your nose as that spot behind your eyes was now stinging, trying to massage the pain away... You knew he needed your help... But not to heal him. Your brother was excited because of a... science fair?

You had no idea whether you made this up or were you actually remembering your dream, but it all felt so real...

You sighed and then it finally came to you why you were unconscious in the first place. You quickly looked at your own hands to check if your body was still blurred but everything seemed to be normal again.

"Thank, God..." you mumbled as you tried your fingers, stretching them and then clenching them into a fist. They were all working as they should.

You jumped out of the bed, easily kicking the blanket off your body, and searched for your boots. You found them by Ekko's desk and you put them on while you made your way towards the young firelight's door.

He was probably back from Piltover by now. You had no idea how long you'd been out, but you somehow suspected that you were unconscious for days at least... But you felt better than ever. And you were excited to tell him about it.
